Okay. So I know I missed a couple intros and I'm not caught up on them. And I'm posting this at like midnight But I have an intro lol So

I'm Roz, I have nothing exciting to add about myself because I'm boring

I did go to the dentist today, to get a root canal removed because I can't afford to get it fixed, and I told my dentist that my pain's all over the place and I'm not even sure if it's the root canal at this point, so he took that full head kinda xray and was like you right. You got these two wisdom teeth that have massive cavities and are kinda broke and they're wisdom teeth like you don't even need those so let's just remove those first and see if they're the bastards causing this pain. And I was like alright cool, because I kinda need this molar to chew on anyway. And then he read my mind and was like - so I know the last time I removed a tooth, it took you three visits for us to numb it, so let's not do that this time, and take these antibiotics for a week first instead.

And that is a story of my day.

Anyway, I'm bringing you the last junior ribbonfin dude. And likely my last character here, because I don't have the capability of writing a dissertation for a fifth, and also I don't think I actually have the capability of even playing a fifth so. Here we go.

This is Matteo Diaz. He is from Chicago, and a muggleborn. He attended Illervermorny (I butcher that word every time I type it), and was in Thunderbird, and got here literally entirely based on volunteer work because he doesn't really care about athletics and he's not really good at academics, but he cares about helping people.

This kid is weird and eccentric. And very philosophy kind of motivated. He's very invested in understanding the universe and what the universe is trying to tell him, and believes strongly that our one goal on earth is to simply find the truest form of our true selves. So he's basically a fucking hippie. And he really is - he's all about pacifism and mediation, and living and let live. Accept people for exactly who they are, do not tie them down with these expected curriculums of what they should be learning, or with these social norms and bullshit constructs of sexuality and gender. Let these people figure out who they are at the very core of their being and embrace it, because no matter what they are, it's gonna be beautiful, because everything is beautiful.

Like this is the fucking kid that derails history of magic lectures by questioning what history really means, and does it really exist, and are we the living embodiment of history in action. Which evolves into what is fate - and since we are the living embodiment of history in action, does free choice even truly exist. He derails his essays with spiritual wandering. He fucking loves astronomy and divination, because he believes those are very expansive branches of magic, they don't fit into this proposed box of magic.

I'm gonna have to be drunk every time I write him, and it's gonna be fantastic.

He does need friends, or people he annoys and just doesn't realize it. And past flings or hook ups or spiritual sexual journeys lol And people he attended illervermorny with. And one of his main volunteer work there was creating a muggleborn outreach program to help stabilize and basically assimilate muggleborns into the school so anybody who actually took part in that and who got to know a super caring baby Teo would be awesome. And basically everything else.

I JUST GOT MY WISDOM TEETH REMOVED A FEW MONTHS AGO. I CAN GUIDE YOU THOUGH THE PROCESS. I got lots of nice painkillers and learned that I freak out under nitrous.

Also can ras and him have conversations that really should be done while being super fucking high about how the universe really is the bottom of the left back foot of a rabbit and how all of it ties together and how everything it just fantastic?

My mouth is like all kinds of fucked up. But my wisdom teeth have been growing in for YEARS. And I got my first one removed i think it was in april. Because I got a molar right next to it removed, and it just gave my wisdom tooth space to grow and be free, and it fully grew in, and this dentist I have now was like yeah we should probably do away with that one there bud. And I was like yeah sure you sound like you know what you're talking about. So when I got it removed, I was supposed to get two other teeth removed too (one of which refused to numb and took an additional two visits to actually remove). And he showed me my removed wisdom tooth and laughed and told me that this is literally the smallest full grown tooth he's ever seen, he has to go show the rest of the office. And I was like ...okay cool, whatever hobbies you got, you go do them, that's cool. So I'm not like terrified, because my other wisdom teeth are partially grown in, and I haven't had a bad experience with the removal of them yet (out of my whole one tooth experience I got going). None of them require actual surgery at least.

Also yessss. I want all the ridiculous conversations with Ras, because Teo is on the same wavelength. I want their conversations to be so ridiculous and so public that everybody else is mentally side eyeing them.

Omg the idea of you having the babiest of baby teeth is amazing. Mine were just like how old are you? Damn you're old. Why you so old getting your teeth out? Holy fuck she's old. Why are you so old? Yeah your jaw might fall off because you are soooo old. Your poor mouth and I hope that he isn't making like a voodoo doll of you starting from your teeth.

I want these two to end up just spending a day making tie dyed shit. Can that happen at least once?

lmfao my parents just got dentures. They're like fifty. My mom got her wisdom teeth removed when she was fifteen. I'm twenty seven now, for reference. But my dad actually had to get his wisdom teeth removed - all four of them - when he got the rest removed for the dentures because they just never grew in. He never had a problem with them. I'm like my gums have been playing hot potato with these wisdom teeth for like three years now. They take turns on which tooth is growing in on any given day. Apparently I broke one, and I didn't even notice it. I broke a tooth I don't even chew on, so that's where I'm at with my life decisions right now. But I like my dentist, he's super chill, super concerned about not causing me pain. It's a nice relationship.

But yes, we will have them spend the entire day making tie dyed shirts, and discussing the universe and philosophy and it's gonna be the super chillest moment of my whole damn fictional.

lmfao oh jeez. My sister had to get two of her wisdom teeth removed because they excruciating. But since she was pregnant, she couldn't finish the other two, because one was literally on its side, and she had to go in for surgery to get it out, and they can't do that when you're pregnant. And then she kinda just wandered off and ignored it, so she's about to be in your place right quick.

I'm super excited for deep Ras convos. None of my other ones (except maybe solomon but he's a baby) has the capacity for these deep convos.

An here is a senior and fucking adores him. Could definitely have been a past hook up and current friend. She needs as many non-judgmental friends as possible bc her life/choices are terrible. Friends then? If not past hook up?

Lach is also a Junior, so they would be in classes together. God they will be awesome weirdo friends, christ we need to make this happen. Imma post for him later, but yeah they gotta be pals for sure.

Vic I don't know would know him much, but she's a good egg even if not the most friendly off the bat. So we'll see?

I am actually totally cool with An being a past hook up and current friend. Teo is super weirdly chill about sex (but in a weirdly different chill kind of way than Chris). He believes sex is a beautiful moment you share with other people. Not like serious relationship important moment, just a beautiful moment to share with a friend, kinda like star gazing and shit like that. Moments are beautiful. But he adores An.

And lach is already weird, so yes, they need to be friends, and be weird and happy together.

And vic would probably be hilarious about it, but yeah we can see. It's okay, teo totally thinks you got a beautiful soul already Vic. And he thinks your lizard thing is rad too.

And I'm supposed to get my wisdom tooth out but I've been neglecting it because I'M SO TERRIFIED. But it's been since August and it's starting to make my bottom teeth go crooked and I DID NOT WEAR BRACES FOR YEARS FOR THIS INCONSIDERATE TOOTH TO RUIN EVERYTHING.

Teo and Ennis tho. Teo and Ennis. Ennis will listen to him ramble for hours and nod thoughtfully and think he's so deep. And they should meditate together and talk about spirituality and sprawl out in the Grotto and practice divination and be GREAT FUCKIN' PALS. And they went to Illilililililililiillllivermourning together, but Ennis was in Pukwoopie.

AND LEVI WILL LOVE HIM BC LEVI LOVES EVERYONE??? AND HE WAS HIS THUNDERBIRD SENPAI. THUNDERBIRD HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

omg you need to get your wisdom tooth out. When I first complained of my wisdom teeth, when they were making my gums feel all raw like I was actually teething, my mother traumatized me by explaining to me what they do to remove your wisdom teeth and I was like mom. What the fuck. But no - really, now that mine are partially basically grown in, they just fucking remove them like a normal tooth. I felt no additional pain when I got the first one removed. I had to a get root canal removed a couple weeks after that - now that was a bitch to heal. where were the horror stories of fucking up a root canal.

It's okay tho, because Ennis - Teo noticed you in Illervermorny, and he thought you were a beautiful soul even way back then. But yes, they are gonna be fucking fantastic. And Teo will be interested in Ennis's dolls and think they're grand. And it's gonna be so fucking adorable. I want it. I have a mighty need.

But for real - Teo loves Levi. Teo strongly believes that Levi is unlocking the key to the mysteries of the universe and has already found his true self at such a young and mythically impressionable age and that's really so damn inspiring.

And I'm sorry Maggie. But Teo also thinks you're very inspiring too.

And yes, they would have been adorable enablers, and now they're roommates and it was destiny. And ALSO ENNIS'S APP IS WHAT INSPIRED ME TO DO THE PERSONALITY THING FOR TEO AND I TOTALLY SAW THAT they're ENFP and INFP and I was like alright so i'm super closely aligning the characters I have relationships with Ali's together personality wise apparently. It made me laugh after finding out that Levi and Chris scored the same personality type. AND THEN I immediately forgot about it lol BUT IT IS DESTINY.

Teo and Levi can just discuss astronomy, it's okay. He feels you. But I also acknowledge that Teo is giving Levi all this ridiculous attention Levi is probably eating up, but it's all just so damn genuine.

Reid is from Chicago, they were in Thunderbird together, and they're both Muggleborns from low income families. They've potentially known one another for a long time. Reid's... not great at comprehending all those words words words. He'd let Teo talk at him, but he's not going to process most of it, and won't really be able to chat back. Especially when it gets super esoteric, he's not into it. Buuuut he's a willing block of wood to sit and half-listen.

I mean it's destiny for them to be friends. But Teo can do most of the talking, and I feel like he's probably more perceptive that he seems most of the time. So I think he's aware by now that Reid doesn't talk much, and it's okay, because that's just who Reid is and that's beautiful. He can also be chill and sit in silence, until he forgets that he's sitting in silence and starts talking about the true meaning of silence. It's okay, Teo loves Reid anyway lol

I could see Teo and Kele getting along on a philosophical level. Kele would also be more open about being NB if Teo openly talks about his ideas that social norms are bull. Though Kele closes up about Divination.

Zeke can get along with anyone, and they're in a few classes together, plus choir. Zeke claims straight, but would not oppose some exploration of whether that matters or not. ;p

I already like Kele from his comment about other civilizations acknowledging more than two genders ~~or was that sexualities i can't remember~~ bc that sound like exactly something Teo would say. So Teo is open about everything, and goes on random discourses about why gender doesn't exist, or why there's fifty different genders or shit like that. So i could see them openly discusing it.

Teo thinks Zeke's precious and an absolute delight, and talks to Zeke like they're equals and on the same page, regardless of how out there Teo's direction of any given conversation is. So if you need somebody to provide Zeke with the opportunity to actually explore something outside of straight, Teo is super into exploration - how can you know what you are if you don't explore what you're not, right?

Exactly! Heh. I think they could be fun. I think Teo would make a good opposing force to Zeke's very outgoing, never staying still or thinking too deeply personality. He is capable of deep thought, but if left by himself he is more likely to try to find something to do than to sit around and be introspective. So he does need someone around who might pull that out in him.

Hello, Roz! I have no idea if I've met you yet or not, so I'm just gonna re-intro my characters here.

Garrett "Sly" Ogletree (

isolate), Coppertale Sophomore, Prefect, Dueling & Fencing, Outdoor Exploration, Quidditch Reserve Beater/Chaser. His concept is "Near-silent reformed rebel in the streets, mischievous consulting troublemaker in the sheets." Despite being the only prefect and the only dark-haired one, Garrett is the Ogletree you might not have heard of because he doesn't talk much. A lot of people think he's an arrogant snob because of this, but he's actually just shy. He won't initiate conversations, but if you start it you'll actually find he's got a mischievous and sly sense of humor to go with his studious athleticism, and he loves danger and trouble as much as the next guy. (He's a "consulting troublemaker", you see, which is exactly what it sounds like.) He was also a Thunderbird at Ilvermorny who did a lot of volunteer work, so maybe they could know each other from having worked at a few of the same places? He does almost exclusively charities related to magical creatures, but the muggleborn outreach program sounds good to him too.

Bailey "Bae" Hartman (

cyrano), Ebonhide Junior, Cheer Squad, Event Committee. Her concept is "A busybody matchmaker who purposefully confuses "good match" with "good drama." Bailey is a meddlesome matchmaker who will set you up whether you ask her to or no. Really she just loves drama, so sometimes it's less about perfect match and more about how entertaining the couple will be. Shockingly, when not matchmaking, Bailey is actually pretty quiet and normal and understated. Her own business is kept on a bit of a lockdown, and she's not really prone to drama in her own life because it's only fun when it happens to other people. She loves event planning, cheerleading, and basically anything to do with the social side of school. He sounds quite literally hilarious so he and Bae could have been a past fling if you want. She likes interesting people, and one of her best friends is also basically a hippie.

I am totally good with Teo knows Garrett from volunteer work. And Teo starts all sorts of conversations, so he's probably started them with Garrett too. Teo is like a walking pep talk too - if you want somebody to compliment you for no reason at all - Teo's pretty good at it.

Teo loves interesting people too, and he finds Bae fascinating, he believes she is the epitome of strength. So yeah, they should totally be past flings.

CHLOE IS MOST RELEVANT HERE. I think she decided early on that JUNIOR RIBBONFINS ARE ALL HER FRIENDS and when the going gets rough, she just clings to them. She probably comes and hangs out with the boys when ~~Rosy is scary~~ things get tense in the girls' cabin.

She was in his same year at Illvermorny (why is this so hard to spell??), and probably would have been in his muggleborn program, so it's possible that they know each other pretty well.

She would love his hippy attitude, and his idea of accepting people as their truest selves. She likes to listen to him talk and thinks he's really smart, but probably can't participate very well, because she's not a terribly abstract thinker. She spends a lot of time on tumblr, so for example, "gender is an abstract concept" sounds great, she just doesn't really know how to actually conceptualize what that means unless she can use examples.

Teo adores all the ribbonfins too, and he adores Chloe. When comes to hang out with the boys to escape Rosy's tirade, Teo can entertain her his feel good disposition. But yeah, she should've totally been in his muggleborn program and Illvermorny, and he would've been super chill and super encouraging even back then, but he feels protective of all the members of that program that transferred over to Gooseberry, because they are like his - i don't wanna say ducklings - but they're basically his ducklings, even if they're also his age. They've just come so far. Started at the bottom and now look where we at.

Marilyn is in Ribbonfin and a Junior and very free thinking in a lot of ways. PLUS she likes helping people so. I can see them getting along!

And don't think Ryan gets to escape this, because Teo loves Ryan's hair, and has probably given Ryan random hugs throughout the day for literally no reason and with literally no dialogue. Because hug gifts are just nice, and Ryan looks sad sometimes.

SO FERDIE is from the Chicago area and is in his cabin AND is his prefect, and tbh he loves his weirdass dorm and all its people. He had a weird childhood and wasn't allowed to have friends it was great. He is the most quiet rebel and has grown into a prefect with a backbone. He also is a fan of details and logic so their perspectives are very different. But he'd still really enjoy talking to Matteo?

Addy was also a Thunderbird at Ilvermorny! She would've absolutely taken part in his Muggleborn outreach; her dad's a Muggle so it's vvv near to her heart. She'd like him a lot even now and talk to him and think his views are way cool:(

Teo loves Ferdie's perspective, and Teo - while super chill - is all for any kind of rebelling, because stick it to the man. And I just imagine this dorm as being super chill, super adorable.

Teo loves Addy, and claims her as his people after the muggle outreach thing.

And leo's not important, but Teo still thinks Leo's cool.

Teeth are straight up one of my worst nightmares. I was missing a few of them and had to get implants and have been terrified of them falling out of my face since I was young.

So I am deeply and genuinely sorry about your teeth issues. First.

But, dude, his character is beautiful - as is his concept blurb. In general. He's like a gloriously chill, walking fortune cookie. Roxie isn't exactly as philosophical, but she likes poetry and the like. And she'd find his perspective on things very interesting. So - something! Potentially!

Okay but Roxie and Teo share classes and shit too, and based on that, Teo also likes Roxie. I mean, he loves everyone and all their different perspectives, but her perspective is so awesome to him. Like an actual circus performer - is that not the definition of freedom from societal norms? It's beautiful.
