With the flood of new players (hi! yay!!), I thought it might be nice to have a concise place to talk about our character's relationships. The Winter Formal is coming up, you guys!!! Honestly, I just didn't wanna risk stepping on anybody's toes in my OOC attempt to fill people in or Cricket's IC attempt to relinquish her Queen Meddler Crown to Bae. I know we just did a Wanted Lines meme and we have lots of intros to sift through, so this can be very brief. Basically, just include what you think a student who reads the journals regularly/has working eyeballs would know about your character's relationships so far.

Bestest Buds: Who is your character always seen with? The best meddlers know not to throw wrenches in friend groups.

Current Relationship Status: Are they single or spoken for?
The Messy Bits: Would it be obvious to an observant meddler that your character has a crush on their bestie? Or has your character engaged in public flirting and/or fighting on the journals? What's going on in the ol' Gooseberry rumor mill???

House and Year: Ribbonfin Sophomore
Sexuality: Gay.
Bestest Buds: Ree primarily, and then Frankie, Essie. Cole and Micah are more and more likely to be seen with him, too.
Notable Past Relationships: None at Gooseberry. Super secretly he was kiiiiiind of romantically involved with his horrible bully roommate back at Hogwarts, but he more or less ran off to America to get away from him, so it obviously wasn't a good relationship.
Current Relationship Status: Single.
The Messy Bits: It's not very hard to tell he's kind of smitten with Ravi because he's Perfect and Unattainable. It's also obvious that Micah has a crush on Calvin. Meanwhile, Calvin tends to respond REALLY NEGATIVELY to attractive boys his age who could potentially be date material. He's so bad at handling guys, it's a mess. He's only recently able to spend time around Cole without getting irrationally annoyed by his HANDSOME FACE AND GENERALLY APPEALING QUALITIES or furious with Micah because HOW DARE YOU TRY TO FLIRT WITH ME YOU MUST BE MAKING FUN OF ME.
Anything Else: Nope.

House and Year: Coppertale Junior
Sexuality: Perceived as straight but probably overcompensating for something. He's kissed dudes at parties and not particularly enjoyed it. (Surprise: he doesn't enjoy kissing girls all that much either.)
Bestest Buds: Rosy and Reid are literally it for Sy's trusted inner circle (Diego's close, as his pseudo-cousin), but he's protective of the Coppertale Quidditch team too.
Notable Past Relationships: Ahhh god this might change when I finally hit intros, but I know he's dated... Ursula de Luca when they were in middle school, and Laurel Templeton and Penny Vargas last year? None of his relationships have lasted very long or been allowed to get very serious before Sy sabotages it.
Current Relationship Status: Single
The Messy Bits: I mean, he always flirts around a lot. Lately he's really liked flirting with Clem Decourt but that's because she smashes his ego so bad and he's into it.
Anything Else: He's going to friend-marry a swan one day.

Bestest Buds: DIEGO AND CECIL~~ And Riley and Chris and Jesse and MICAH IS HIS SON and-- okay, he considers himself close friends with everyone in Azurcrest, especially the girls.
Notable Past Relationships: He has a reputation for eagerly making out with boys (if your boy is a Junior or older and you wanna say they've made out with Levi, hmu) and is a little more discriminate when it comes to heavy petting, but it's still an impressive list. He's gone all the way with three people, but multiple times and his relationships were well-known: a lasting FWB situation starting his Sophomore year with a boy one year his senior, a Muggle boy over the summer, and most notably with Chris on-off starting their Junior year (I think?)
Current Relationship Status: In his first monogamous relationship with Cecil Honeychurch! He's overly enthused about it and borderline obsessed with the boy.
The Messy Bits: OH BOY OH BOY. It's obvious there's still some lingering romantic feelings and sexual tension toward Chris and he's been trying to initiate fights and banter with him as an outlet for these feelings because that was their form of foreplay when they were "together". He got into a fight with Chris the other day at hockey and liked it a lot.
Anything Else: He was notorious for flirting with, pursuing, and having romantic feelings toward multiple boys at once prior to dating Cecil, so it's easy to guess that those feelings didn't just suddenly go away. He's INCREDIBLY HAPPY WITH CECIL and believes he's in love with him and fantasizes about moving to the majestic and non-existent North Dakota mountains and raising adopted dogs and children together BUT. BUT. He still toes the line when it comes to Chris.

The Messy Bits: The larger student body should be very well aware that Jesse is obsessed with Quinn. This does not feel messy to him, at all. He's like 65% just messing around anyway. He'll take about any action he can get at Grotto parties, but won't do more than chaste spin the bottle pecks with sophomores and younger. He is, however, a firm adherent of the BRO CODE, so he's working like some intense game theory algorithms in his mind at all times to avoid hooking up with girls that his homies have already seriously hooked up with. Shit is complicated!

Sexuality: Slight mystery since he's very adamant about claiming he's not to be interested in dating. But he's kissed both girls and boys in LARP, and Ravi's not really hiding it when asked, so a meddler would probably know he's bisexual.
Bestest Buds: Sun-mi, Rafael and Asher are his BFFs, but he also considers all of the senior Ribbonfins to be close friends.
Notable Past Relationships: Never dated... except in LARP. He spent three years in love with Ricardo Ramirez (Rafael's older brother and the founder of LARP Club) who was enough of a narcissist to keep leading on Ravi even while he was faithful to his girlfriend (now fiancée). This probably wasn't hard to guess from observation, but Sun-mi, Rafael and Asher are the only ones who know definitely yes that Ravi needed to get away from Ric.

Notable Past Relationships: She preferred random hookups! Her longest relationships were probably like week or two flings. This happened with for sure with Diego at some point, also others I should establish, yikes.
Current Relationship Status: She is in a long distance relationship with a guy from home since September and she's been so good so far this year about not screwing up!
The Messy Bits: Addy used to be very Free, ALL INSINUATIONS INTENDED. She isn't anymore, but she's not that forthcoming on her Bf From Home either. Notable Past Relationships: Bae gave him a kiss to be nice because he'd never been kissed. This summer he 'dated' a girl from France, but it was more like a bunch of kissing and talking at each other in languages the other didn't understand.

Bestest Buds: CECIL AND LEVI. But he has a large circle of friends, including Jesse, Ryan, Zoey, Riley, Addy, Sofia, Bailey, Wes, AND PROBABLY A TON OF PEOPLE I MISSED.
Notable Past Relationships: Tabitha. Addy and Bailey, who he dated only briefly. Has regular-ish hookups with Etta. He's hooked up with Chris and Anuhea. If any girl wants him as an ex, or to say they slept with him, Diego is... easy. Just drop me a note and it's probably happened as long as they're at least a junior. Nooooo sophomores.

• He's got some serious romantic feelings for his very close BFF, Cecil Honeychurch. Cecil's with Levi, though, so Diego's facing all that agonizing teen heartbreak. Anyone who knows the dynamics of that friendship might be able to determine what the issue is after the Amortentia thing. He's actively trying to get over it, and isn't going to compete for Cecil or anything like that.
• He also was pushing Cecil and Levi to get together, contributing to his current state. His judgement is so bad.
• Dated Tabitha last year, and everything seemed perfect. Diego was a very attentive boyfriend. Diego then abruptly set that relationship on fire by cheating on Tabitha. His motivations are rumored to be boredom or that Tabs wouldn't sleep with him. Neither are true, but that's neither here nor there~
• Has been sexually active since he was a freshman which is definitely yikes.
• Kind of getting into Ravi? Thinks Ravi is kind of into him???
• It's a little generous to say he's "out" now. He's still kind of keeping quiet about the surprise bisexuality.

Bestest Buds: Closest to Cole and Ree, who are his friends from Ilvermorny. Probably considers Cole his BFF, but Micah's super friendly to everyone in his year. Adores the Azurcrest sophomores. Idolizes the Azurcrest Quidditch team.

Currently backing off from Calvin because Amortentia freaked him out a bit. Kissed some very attractive people during the last Grotto party, namely Cole and Susana, and has some weird feelings about both of them.
