WANTED LINES MEME: December

Just like we promised, Wanted Lines is going to be a meme that will take place once a month, usually around the 1st. This will give everyone an opportunity to discuss their character development, and talk about lines they might want to build with one another.

So if you want to participate, fill out the following with each of your characters, then comment around and talk about their relationships and how your characters could interact now or in the future!

Character Name: Wes Carpenter
House and Year: Coppertale Senior
Classes: Charms, Herbology, Hermeticism, Potions, Transfiguration, Magizoology, Music.
Extracurriculars: Boating, drama (even if he didn't try out for the play, he wasn't feeling it~), choir, outdoor exploration (LOL PROBABLY NOT ANYMORE)
Current State: KINDA SALTY TBH. He's lowkey resentful about things lately, which is new for him, but he's been a little punchy since the woods incident, especially with the alien rumor and feeling like the joke is on him. So yeah, he hasn't really been his cheery flirty self by default, he's been more. . .throwing shade? I think that's the right word. He's less trusting of those outside of his select few after feeling burned, is sick of being at school, and just wants to go home to Louisiana and recharge.
Looking For:
- Winter Formal is coming up and Wes is already rolling his eyes because UGH DATES AND PLANS AND STUFF. He lowkey wants to ask Laurel because that's his biggest crush atm and he also doesn't want to regret skipping out on the dance altogether for his senior year, but there is nothing formal about Wes at all.
- I honestly don't have a problem finding animosity for him so I'm not specifically asking for that, that's easy. But more people who don't hate him or think he's tacky or a little bitch maybe? HE JUST WANTS TO BE HAPPY.
- IDK anything really I'm easy

On a day to day basis, Cricket has been largely ignoring him for the past few weeks. Not in an aggressive cold shoulder way that screams "WATCH ME IGNORE YOU!" like she had been at the beginning of November. She's still worried/curious about his SOUL obviously and now a little bit worried about her own soul, but in regular classroom interactions she's back to normal and just treats him like a distant acquaintance. I MIGHT have her bother him again in a couple of weeks after Hazel spots BRoTHeR (is that brother? Idk!), but that'll depend on her emotional state at the time and how up I think she is to deflecting my fav Wes eye roll icon.

JESSE, on the other hand, is all up in Wes' business. Being annoying and bro-y, like he is. After spending so much time with Quinn, Jesse is completely immune to salty vibes. Plus, he doesn't care at all about the thing in the woods, if you ever want Wes to get a chance to talk about literally anything else.

I'd like for them to maybe play at the Winter Formal, so Wes HAS to come, but there are some moving pieces in play at the moment. I'm trying to bully Sara into apping a singer for them but if that doesn't work out, I think they should maybe hold auditions for a singer. "A hot one," Jesse says, but I don't like to listen to him.

	Wes is still convinced that Cricket is poison and only got so involved as a power play, and he's probably started snarking to at least his few friends that his new name for the Ebonhide senior girls is The Bad News Bears. Please feel free to have him snark within earshot of her! Or use Jesse as an amplifier. He will definitely jump in on The Bad News Bears teasing, because the Ebonhide senior girls cabin is full of button-up lesbians and therefore of no use to him.

The sooner Cricket completes her whole, "Wes is just misunderstood because everyone teased him and if I'm nice enough for long enough he'll realize people CARE about him and we can be friends again" story arch, the better. Once she gets it through her head that they were never really friends and lol actually have NOTHING in common, the better for meeeeeeeee because then she can start snarking again.

TL;DR - Basically, I really like writing against you! And I want more bitchy Wes/Cricket interactions because he's the only one who calls her out on her bullshit and it's way more fun than ignore plot. For me. And I am selfish.

P.S. - Jesse wants to know why you won't just be the GD singer and then they don't have to hold tryouts, Wes.

Don't get it twisted Cricket, you brought this on yourself. Yeah Wes isn't getting over it anytime soon, right now he just sees her as meddling and two faced and someone who gets close just to throw weaknesses back in people's faces - QUEEN OF THE BAD NEWS BEARS. But yeah his douche dorm is mostly to blame for him getting saltier since the ~alien abduction~, and that ain't letting up no time soon from the looks of it

Yeah I haven't considered dropping him this month, buuuuuuut I haven't been around so WHO KNOWS. Idk we'll see

HE PROB WILL. He might just ward him about it soon actually

Just popping in here to say Rafael has decided Wes and Cricket are certified Bad For One Another, and if he gets involved again somehow... he's gonna be inclined to try and help kill it. HE LOVES YOU TWO, BUT HOW ABOUT YOU NEVER SPEAK TO ONE ANOTHER AGAIN???

And he's going to side with Wes when it comes down to the wire, since Wes is on his little aggressively protected list. SORRY CRICKET. :(

	She'll forgive you, Raf. If anything, she'll probably be most upset about the fact that he didn't just tell her straight away that Wes thinks she's a snake. 	And he is cool with them, even if he shaaaaamelessly flirts with Laurel because she's chill and funny and adorable Oh he does a lot of that! He's friends with Diego too, so he doesn't get involved in any Battle of the Bands, even if he likes to poke fun at their music sometimes :D (Reply to this) (Parent)
