Hey there, everybody! I'm Jackie and it's really great to meet everyone! Um. Me? I'm a Special Education teacher. (School is starting up again tomorrow. I'm pretty much crying into my laminator already.) I work with autistic 11-13 year olds. Ah, preteens. A constant and unfailing delight.

Anyhow! This is Frances. Please do not call her Frances. It's terrible. But, lowdown:

• Frankie Noble, Muggleborn, Azurcrest Sophomore, (Only slightly) Midgetier sister of one Tess Noble.
• Gooseberry's her first real magic-school experience. She was set to got to Ilvermorny, but she got into an accident - okay, so she fell out of a tree, same thing - that resulted in a head injury and permanent hearing loss. So her parents kept her home, got her tutoring, and totally stunted her social development. (Okay, not really. She's fine. Her hearing aids are both purple and awesome.)
• She's an artist and totally wants to figure out the whole enchanted paintings thing. They're amazing. It's the coolest thing ever, seriously. ~~It'd be even cooler if there were enchanted graphic novels. She's just saying.~~.
• Gigantic, unrepentant dweeb. Her care packages are all baked goods and comic books, man.

Whole app is here. But, yes! I would love any and all of the things! Please and thank you. My laminator and I are now going to go pretend that the alarm isn't set to go off at ridiculous o'clock tomorrow.

WELCOME JACKIE!! I'm Marin, the other mod, and must apologize profusely for taking so long to get to intros. I'm so happy you came to GB even with your no doubt ridiculously busy schedule ;3; I love love love Frankie's concept, she's so adorable.

So, obv Frankie will know Ravi because of LARP, his home away from home. Ravi's a senior Ribbonfin prefect who generally tries to big brother everyone, so sometimes gently scolding and sometimes VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. Frankie is less of a troublemaker than the rest of her house, so no scolding hopefully!! She and Ravi have the same kind of "quiet extrovert who LOVES talking about the things they like and/or listening to people do the same" personality, so they might gel pretty well. :|a

She might also run into Sy Stoker (

stokers), a Coppertale junior who's Quidditch captain. Sy knows Tess from when she used to be on the team, and he's got a soft spot for his teammates, even if he won't admit. Usually Sy's kind of an obnoxious brute who hits on girls, but he might be surprisingly decent to Frankie because of the Tess connection. Might be. ~~He'll still flirt with her sometimes.~~

Last is Wilhemina Tran (

resentfully), an Ebonhide senior who's a serious overachiever and self-proclaimed iron queen of Event Committee. Mina is predisposed to dislike Azurcrests, but Frankie is comparatively serious-minded and competent, so Mina might grudgingly not dislike her. Expect to be ordered around a lot during Event Committee.

HI! And it's no problem at all, seriously! Thanks so much for the welcome. And, I promise, this is awesome and is totally the reprieve from insanity.

The only trouble Frank really get into is snickering to herself during LARP because she gets ridiculous doodle ideas in the middle of people doing things. It's unintentional. And, yes! They might get along really well. He's dedicated and smart in the sort of way she has to try really hard at and that's super impressive to her.

Hey, her sister's good people. She understands. No words need to be spoken. Surprisingly decent's nice! She'll take it. ~~She would have no idea what to do with that.~~

Frank will not get in the way. She promises. Lots of blinking in mild bewilderment and nodding and generally doing what she's told. Because she doesn't understand the lack of chill. She's a very 'shrug and go with it' sort of girl.
