Hey there, everybody! I'm Jackie and it's really great to meet everyone! Um. Me? I'm a Special Education teacher. (School is starting up again tomorrow. I'm pretty much crying into my laminator already.) I work with autistic 11-13 year olds. Ah, preteens. A constant and unfailing delight.

Anyhow! This is Frances. Please do not call her Frances. It's terrible. But, lowdown:

• Frankie Noble, Muggleborn, Azurcrest Sophomore, (Only slightly) Midgetier sister of one Tess Noble.
• Gooseberry's her first real magic-school experience. She was set to got to Ilvermorny, but she got into an accident - okay, so she fell out of a tree, same thing - that resulted in a head injury and permanent hearing loss. So her parents kept her home, got her tutoring, and totally stunted her social development. (Okay, not really. She's fine. Her hearing aids are both purple and awesome.)
• She's an artist and totally wants to figure out the whole enchanted paintings thing. They're amazing. It's the coolest thing ever, seriously. ~~It'd be even cooler if there were enchanted graphic novels. She's just saying.~~.
• Gigantic, unrepentant dweeb. Her care packages are all baked goods and comic books, man.

Whole app is here. But, yes! I would love any and all of the things! Please and thank you. My laminator and I are now going to go pretend that the alarm isn't set to go off at ridiculous o'clock tomorrow.

	TESS'S BABY SISTER!!!!! Levi is an Azurcrest Senior and also ~PALS WITH HER BIG SIS TESS~ so he is gonna be extra chummy with Frankie. 	My high school was a bishop, there is nothing fearsome about that. Seagulls sound a hundred times more terrifying! 	A giant group of seagulls swooping down on you would be pretty terrifying, I'll grant you that. (Hitchcock pretty much ruined all birds hanging out in groups of more than three forever.) 	HI! I'm Alex and I have two characters! Nathaniel Bird (flyover) is an Ebonhide Senior, prefect, pretty much all around nice dude. Riley Stamper (dis bitch) is an Azurcrest Junior! HEY BB AZURS! His owl's name is Miss Priss. That's fantastic. Really, there's nothing more that needs to be said. We are in love.

I feel like she and Frankie would get along - not only because they are both midgets, but because Frank is very happy to sit back and let other people be the center of attention. And to be incredibly enthusiastic about them. Though, I mean, the awesome pink hair certainly doesn't hurt either.

Diego Morales (

morale) is a Senior Azurcrest, a musician, and cheerleader. His baby stepsister, Estella, is in Frankie's dorm! I imagine he tries to ~big brother~ at that whole dorm quite a bit. He's super chummy, and will generally be a nice guy to Frankie. He's open minded about peoples' unusual hobbies, so if Frankie ever wants to ramble to him about something nerdy, he'll listen. I can't guarantee he'll understand any of it, though. HE'S SORT OF A DITZ.

Reid Wainwright (

unresponsive) is a Sophomore Coppertale, and he's on the Soppertale Quidditch team. He seems like an unfriendly ice prince, but really he's just dreadfully awkward and bad with words. Talking to people is haaaard. He's a fellow Muggleborn, though, and friends with Jackie's big sister. He'll be good to Frankie.

Calvin Evercreech (this journal) is a Sophomore Ribbonfin, highly successful student, and the BFF of Frankie's roommate, Regan. Calvin's a Hogwarts exchange student and former Slytherin bully, and last year he showed up thinking he could rule the roost. IT WENT TERRIBLY FOR HIM. Now he gets picked on rather than pick on people. He was probably pretty bad to Frankie early last year, but after getting close to Regan, he turned over a new leaf. He's still an unpleasant person, buuuut he's probably nice enough to Frankie. If she was willing to forgive him for being an asshole, they could be friends?

Frank's down with being older-siblinged at. It is the natural order of things. She has accepted it as her destiny and will agreeably nod and smile and ignore everything she's being told to do. Unless she previously wanted to do it anyway. But yes! To the rambling! She's always happy to ramble. And to listen about band things.

Talking to people is hard. Or, well, Frank can see how it could be. She definitely needs quiet time in between rampant friendliness. But she'd be happy to teach him teeny bits of ASL for him to hold out behind his back for when he wants a conversational tap out. So she can cheerfully rescue him from having to talk to people.

Frank probably spent some quality time last year flopping face-first onto her sister's bed while whining about 'Why do people haaaaate me?' But, man, she's really terrible at holding grudges. Short attention span and being mad is generally blegh and hard to maintain. She's definitely be willing to be friends!

I'm Heather, I have Tabitha and Dom, I'm also a teacher... and my middle name is Frances as it happens ;)

Tabitha is too old and a different house to know her, but she's also an arty person and her senior project involves the arts subjects, so there's that!

Dominic is the year above and different house, but he has a flirty thing going on with one of her dormmates so he might know her face!

Yeah, teachers! Neither I nor my laminator died today, so I'm counting it as a win! (She probably doesn't hate Frances either, let's be real. She just needs to generate some material to whine about every once and a while. She gets low.)

Man, Frank would be the first person to be 'Yes, please experiment on me!' for her senior project.

It's a good face! Or, she likes it enough not to detach it, at least. But, yes! We'll definitely find something.

	Our office ladies keep that thing locked up like it's in Fort Knox. They yell at me when I try to make more than two color copies. It is super cool! We're getting a music therapist this year, actually. Hi Jackie! I'm Madeline and I have two here:

This girl here is Sybilla Borgin - most people call her Sylla - junior Ebonhide, and Hogwarts exchange student, where she was a Slytherin. She's been here since last year, and is getting by pretty good in a place where people don't know about her parents (power couple of shadiness and dark magic that run Borgin & Burkes back in England) or her family (1 brother + 7 sisters that all look and creep people out exactly the same). Here she's mostly into dueling, taking animagus studies way too seriously, and talking way too enthusiastically about her strange verging-on-morbid interests. But she's sweet and polite and conversational, so they may just run into eachother! Frankie's also one inch taller than Sylla, so teeny bitty blondes unite?

And then I also have Holden Bright -

blinkah, junior Ribbonfin and the team's Seeker, and it's clear that's his only reason for being here. He's shy to a fault, diplomatic to the point of throwing himself under the bus to avoid conflict between others, and really needs to grow a backbone. While he's not muggleborn himself he mostly grew up in muggle working class south Boston, so muggle world things are his comfort zone that he clings to.

Yes, Team Teeny Blondes! And enthusing is totally okay. Frank's big on taking enthusiastically about her weird, but probably a bit less morbid, interests too. She gets it. Tangentially, at least. Frankie would grin widely at her and be all, 'So, you're basically an Addams!' Which, let's be real, is a high quality thing to be. This is nothing but the highest of compliments.

Frankie likes Quidditch. Well, she fell out of a tree once - so, really, that's all anyone needs to know about her coordination. So. More accurately, Frankie likes watching Quidditch. From a safe distance. But she's definitely been to games. And would happily share her from-home muggle stuff. She'd make her dad send copies of the Weekly World News for him. (Because screw that being cancelled nonsense. In fictional land, there is always more quality reporting like Werewolf Sues Airline Over Flight Delay.)

And she's hella enthusiastically helpful at Event Committee. Also, you are correct Ulysses. Bananas ruin everything they touch. By making everything taste like bananas. Unless it is banana bread. In which case, continue on bananas. (I have now overused the word banana. It has ceased to have meaning.) And Frankie will draw you all the flowers, Xavier. ✿✿

Hi Jackie! I am Sara and I am trying to catch up on all of the intro posts from the last few days, holy shit.

Frankie! You are roommates with this girl, Ree Hobbs! AND THEY ARE ARTISTS TOGETHER! YESSSSS! Ahem. Ree adores her already. Ree's basically an over-the-top ball of amazing, full stop. Ahem. Ok, she's super outgoing and unflaggingly honest in all aspects of everything, so she probably was not shy about being fascinated by Frankie's hearing aids at first, but she also meant well and it was genuine interest. She can be abrasive and she will take no shit, but she's really a giant happy puppy dog thing.

Isaiah Covington

icovington is a senior Ribbonfin introvert with a music obsession who probs doesn't have a lot to do with her, sorry.

And Gabi Flores

gabiflor is a sophomore Ribbonfin who is very very sweet and very very naive and optimistic all the time. So she'll be very nice.

Hells yes, roomies! And SUPER-ART-ROOMIES too! Their cabin is probably the most beautiful and well-decorated of all, let's be real. Frank would be like 'DRAWING ON THE WALLS. Y/Y?' and share ALL of her cookies because she never left kindergarten and giving people food is how you make friends, isn't it? And she totally doesn't mind talking about her hearing aids. Because they are purple. And awesome. She will totally teach Ree random signs so that they can talk about weird people from across classrooms.

That's okay, Isaiah. These things happen.

Frankie would love her. She's adorable. And she has a chincilla. IT'S SO SOFT.

Hi Jackie, I'm Manx! Frankie is adorable, gosh gosh.

I play Ursula de Luca, a Ribbonfin junior. She is not-so-affectionately called princess around these parts and is a notorious gossip and troublemaker. Ursula is default friendly with most people and she is part of the Event Committee and will be joining LARP this year, so she sees Frankie in extracurriculars even if they're a year apart! She is also very down for nerds rambling at her about whatever they are passionate about (IT'S RESEARCH).

Frankie would definitely be friendly, especially if they have overlapping extracurriculars. If you want to write a research paper on nerds, she is a prime candidate. She will up your word count like whoa. (And, also, can I just say that Ursula's concept is awesome in general. Just the idea of being the fourth best friend of the most popular girl in school, oh man, it's the most fantastically high school thing of all, I cannot.)

WELCOME JACKIE!! I'm Marin, the other mod, and must apologize profusely for taking so long to get to intros. I'm so happy you came to GB even with your no doubt ridiculously busy schedule ;3; I love love love Frankie's concept, she's so adorable.

So, obv Frankie will know Ravi because of LARP, his home away from home. Ravi's a senior Ribbonfin prefect who generally tries to big brother everyone, so sometimes gently scolding and sometimes VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. Frankie is less of a troublemaker than the rest of her house, so no scolding hopefully!! She and Ravi have the same kind of "quiet extrovert who LOVES talking about the things they like and/or listening to people do the same" personality, so they might gel pretty well. :|a

She might also run into Sy Stoker (

stokers), a Coppertale junior who's Quidditch captain. Sy knows Tess from when she used to be on the team, and he's got a soft spot for his teammates, even if he won't admit. Usually Sy's kind of an obnoxious brute who hits on girls, but he might be surprisingly decent to Frankie because of the Tess connection. Might be. ~~He'll still flirt with her sometimes.~~

Last is Wilhemina Tran (

resentfully), an Ebonhide senior who's a serious overachiever and self-proclaimed iron queen of Event Committee. Mina is predisposed to dislike Azurcrests, but Frankie is comparatively serious-minded and competent, so Mina might grudgingly not dislike her. Expect to be ordered around a lot during Event Committee.

HI! And it's no problem at all, seriously! Thanks so much for the welcome. And, I promise, this is awesome and is totally the reprieve from insanity.

The only trouble Frank really get into is snickering to herself during LARP because she gets ridiculous doodle ideas in the middle of people doing things. It's unintentional. And, yes! They might get along really well. He's dedicated and smart in the sort of way she has to try really hard at and that's super impressive to her.

Hey, her sister's good people. She understands. No words need to be spoken. Surprisingly decent's nice! She'll take it. ~~She would have no idea what to do with that.~~

Frank will not get in the way. She promises. Lots of blinking in mild bewilderment and nodding and generally doing what she's told. Because she doesn't understand the lack of chill. She's a very 'shrug and go with it' sort of girl.

Pippa Nightingale is a Ribbonfin sophomore and Hogwarts exchange student new to Gooseberry this year. She's wide-eyed about ALL THE THINGS and is super sweet and enthusiastic, so I think she'd get on really well with Frankie. Friends?? :D

My second character is Henrietta Gray (

unregrettable), a senior and the new Azurcrest Quidditch captain. If she's ever witnessed Frankie's right hook then she would have been seriously impressed, haha.

	Hello! First off, Pippa's face. I love Molly Quinn's face. It's adorable. But, yes! They'd totally make good friends! I am all for this. Frankie doesn't bust out with the punching too often, but she'd beam ridiculously if it impressed Henrietta. Because she is so lacking in being a badass. So very lacking in it.
