is from San Francisco and went to Port Prep (and Hebrew school) before coming to Gooseberry

is Jewish, a lesbian, and planning to become either a hazzan (cantor) or rabbi (she's super musically oriented, so she's started leaning toward hazzan)

is in Dueling and Fencing, Choir, and Drama

is a contralto who tends to sneak in on tenor parts because 1) she can and 2) alto parts can get...repetitive

intends to audition for the role of the Phantom when the Drama Club's musical try outs roll around

is not good at subtle

tries not be too blunt or an asshole

wants people to be their best

I have two characters: Levi and Magdalen

Levi has the most line potential with her because he's a Jewish and gay Californian, he's in drama club, and I think their temperaments would mesh well. He's not incredibly devout, but he still takes part in the religious traditions because it's part of his culture and alsoooo because it gets him out of classes and off campus for the day. Levi's from an island close to LA but I don't think the distance between San Fran and LA is as big for Wizards so maybe their families could've known each other through the local Wizarding Jewish community? Also, Levi's dad works in the music business (used to work on the Wizarding side of it before remarrying a Muggle woman) so he could potentially know her uncle. POSSIBLY THROUGH THE EMBARRASSING BOY BAND???

Then I have Maggie, Senior Ebonhide and Head Girl. They don't seem to have as much in common, but she's an out lesbian and in duelling and fencing club as well. I think she'd like Harriet (and especially her cat) and appreciates that she seems to be one of the more well-behaved Coppertale kids.

Levi: Yes, they should totes be friends! And YES, LOL, his dad should totally know her uncle through boy band stuff (and there are totally some fans who want, like, a reunion tour a la New Kids on the Block); and def family knowing each other through the wider wizarding Jewish community!

I think she'll get along with Maggie, and anyone who likes her cat gets bonus points; Yentl likes cuddles and conversations, and is easy to tote around at around 4 lbs.
