Hey everyone~ This is Katie, player of choneychurch and casperkim and I've got a new kiddo to add to the bunch: Cole Moss. (Yes, I will have all of the C names!)

Anyway, he's a sophomore Ribbonfin and a zoned out space cadet artist that makes unfairly good grades because of natural talent. He's very scattered, very preoccupied with all things artistic, and spends a lot of his time in his own head, even when he's around other people. He's generally good-natured and likes to try new things, but has poor social skills and has a hard time reading people with any accuracy. He's also naive and will readily believe almost anything he's told, so he probably thinks every rumor he's ever heard about anyone is true (Katya's in the KGB? neato). This, combined with a go-with-the-flow attitude makes him very easy to mess with or manipulate or boss around for those that are inclined. He's not stupid, though, and along with his magical ability is quite bright and detail-oriented and good at solving problems when he can get focused on something.

Also! He went to Ilvermorny from age six until age fourteen, where he likely knew some of your characters and was pretty much the same way he is now. Eccentric and artsy and academically inclined despite not trying at all. He also has an older brother that is currently a senior at Ilvermorny and, if your character is also a senior and might've been friendly with him back in the day, likely got a letter last year saying essentially: 'HEY. My idiot brother is going to Gooseberry. Make sure he doesn't die, please?' So, there's that. In addition to a protective older brother, he has a bossy owl named Leonora that keeps an eye on him.

Aaaand, last but not least, last year he was about five inches shorter and looked considerably younger than he does now. He had a pretty friendly growth spurt over the summer and came through a more handsome and grown-up looking fishie. This doesn't really seem to matter to him, but it might matter to some others.

Classes: Charms, Herbology, Hermeticism, Potions, Transfiguration, Aesthetic Magic, Artificing, Astronomy, Defense Against the Dark Arts
Extracurriculars: Drama (Crew Only) -- He doesn't act, but he helps with sets, props, makeup, and wigs. He's been teaching himself to sew over the summer, so he'd love to try some costuming too. He isn't currently in any other clubs, but could be convinced.
Seeking: Drama peeps, fellow arteests, friends, people that hate how easily everything comes to him (hi Calvin), friends of his brother, leaders to follow (for good or for ill), anything really~

OK SO. Ravi is a fellow Horned Serpent Ribbonfin who was in the same year as Cole's brother, so he's known Cole for some time! Ravi thinks well of how chill Cole is and would readily praise his artistic talents, and generally act big brothery in Nate Moss' absence.

I just introed Micah here, but lemme hit you with my thoughts because I was excited to see they were Horned Serpent roommates!!! Cole would've definitely known when Micah's own overprotective older brother died, when they were 13. Micah finished out the school year in a state of extreme numbness and going through the motions, but he applied to go to Gooseberry with Cole and turned that ALL AROUND by being so FUN and ALWAYS ON THE GO and CRACKING JOKES ABOUT EVERYTHING.

I feel like Micah's always liked Cole—both of them are a little scattered and into artistic things, and Micah's not competitive or invested enough to feel bothered by how easily everything comes to Cole. They might also clash because Micah's extra gregarious where Cole is socially awkward, and he usually tends to be insincere and exaggerated and never says anything seriously. But Micah was bummed when Cole ended up in a different house, and probably makes special effort to bug him a lot because OLD FRIENDS, dude.

Sy probably doesn't take much notice of Cole, and Mina only gets competitive with Drama kids who share the stage, but they might run into each other around the game. (:

Aww, Ravi~ You're just about the opposite of Cole's actual brother, but he'll welcome this kinder, gentler style of big brothering for sure. Even if he probably does try to make him follow rules and stuff. Also, he wants to hear all about your LARP man and go Horned Serpent-Ribbonfins!

As to Micah, I love all of this and am definitely down for these two to be close. Cole wouldn't have known what to do for Micah at all after his brother died and probably struggled to not just fade out of his life entirely (because withdrawing is sort of what he does when he's uncomfortable). He's glad that he seems to be doing better now and probably does like his weird, artsy, passionate, film-obsessed self quite a bit. Also, Micah can probably talk Cole into anything. So. USE YOUR POWER WISELY. ♥

Sy and Mina, Cole is probably weirdly okay with. Abrasive and bossy aren't really that big a deal to him and both of them generally mean what they say, so that makes his socially inept life easier.
