Hey everyone~ This is Katie, player of choneychurch and casperkim and I've got a new kiddo to add to the bunch: Cole Moss. (Yes, I will have all of the C names!)

Anyway, he's a sophomore Ribbonfin and a zoned out space cadet artist that makes unfairly good grades because of natural talent. He's very scattered, very preoccupied with all things artistic, and spends a lot of his time in his own head, even when he's around other people. He's generally good-natured and likes to try new things, but has poor social skills and has a hard time reading people with any accuracy. He's also naive and will readily believe almost anything he's told, so he probably thinks every rumor he's ever heard about anyone is true (Katya's in the KGB? neato). This, combined with a go-with-the-flow attitude makes him very easy to mess with or manipulate or boss around for those that are inclined. He's not stupid, though, and along with his magical ability is quite bright and detail-oriented and good at solving problems when he can get focused on something.

Also! He went to Ilvermorny from age six until age fourteen, where he likely knew some of your characters and was pretty much the same way he is now. Eccentric and artsy and academically inclined despite not trying at all. He also has an older brother that is currently a senior at Ilvermorny and, if your character is also a senior and might've been friendly with him back in the day, likely got a letter last year saying essentially: 'HEY. My idiot brother is going to Gooseberry. Make sure he doesn't die, please?' So, there's that. In addition to a protective older brother, he has a bossy owl named Leonora that keeps an eye on him.

Aaaand, last but not least, last year he was about five inches shorter and looked considerably younger than he does now. He had a pretty friendly growth spurt over the summer and came through a more handsome and grown-up looking fishie. This doesn't really seem to matter to him, but it might matter to some others.

Classes: Charms, Herbology, Hermeticism, Potions, Transfiguration, Aesthetic Magic, Artificing, Astronomy, Defense Against the Dark Arts
Extracurriculars: Drama (Crew Only) -- He doesn't act, but he helps with sets, props, makeup, and wigs. He's been teaching himself to sew over the summer, so he'd love to try some costuming too. He isn't currently in any other clubs, but could be convinced.
Seeking: Drama peeps, fellow arteests, friends, people that hate how easily everything comes to him (hi Calvin), friends of his brother, leaders to follow (for good or for ill), anything really~

AW YEAH COLE ♥

Calvin hates him. Calvin hates how he coasts through classes. He hates how he's ~an artist~. He hates how Cole is handsome and muscular and doesn't even try to be. He hates how everyone probably loooooooves Cole and all the girls and boys probably have crushes on him. He hates that his older brother care about him like BIG DEAL, MOSS, SO YOUR SIBLING LOVES YOU, NOBODY CARES. He hates that Cole is not actually a bad person so he can't really hate him. HE JUST WANTS TO SMOTHER HIM WITH A PILLOW IN HIS SLEEP.

Diego will be nice to him, naturally! He's in drama, too, and will be social. Diego's also just generally not inclined to be deceptice (and when he tries he.... he's real bad at it....) so Cole is safe with him, despite likely teasing.

Rafael keeps tabs on everyone, so he'll know who Cole is and that he does well in school but needs to focus more. He probably has a hard time with Cole's lack of ambition.

Reid and Cole are both super socially incompetent and I imagine if they were to talk it'd just be back and forth awkward misunderstandings and struggling to communicate.

AWW, COLE LOVES YOU TOO CALVIN. The sad truth is that Cole's probably mostly unaware that Calvin detests him. He's not quite dense enough to think they're friends or anything, but he likes Cal just fine and is fine having almost every single class with him. Please don't smother him. His owl would be pisssssed.

Of course! The teasing will likely go over Cole's head, but I imagine he likes Diego just the same. I mean, he's nice and funny and in drama, so clearly he's good people. Plus, Azurcrest parties are pretty fun.

Yeeeep. He's in the negative range when it comes to ambition. Sorry Rafael! I imagine he mostly knows Rafael as 'that guy who yells at me when I fall asleep by the lake and almost miss class' or something like that. He won't give him any sass or anything when he gets caught messing up, if that helps?

Oh my god. Yeah. Nobody should let them talk to each other. Cole will just draw your pretty face, Reid, don't worry about it.

Vee will obviously be nice to him. She isn't mean anyway and he's in Drama with her and an artistic nice kid, so. She will probably big-sister him.

Ryan doesn't have much cause to know him, so he'll probably not interact much :( However, I'm up for anything random, and he wouldn't be mean if they did cross paths.

HI KATIE! I'm Aleena and I just brought in Cressida Quayle (better known as Cricket).

Cricket and Cole would have had brief overlap at Ilvermorny and they were both in Horned Serpent. Although they don't have a ton of overlap, Cricket makes it her business to know everyone and is probably friendly with him. Also, she is a little stressed out about suddenly being attracted to a 15 year old.

Hi Aleena! It's on my to-do list to respond to your character intro tonight, so expect to hear more from me! ;) Though I will go ahead and say that Cricket is the cutest nickname ever and I LOVE IT.

With regard to Cricket and Cole, she may be more acquainted with his brother than with him back in the Ilvermorny days, but I'm sure their paths crossed some and if she's friendly to him he'll be awkward-friendly at her when he's not ignoring everything. Annnnd sorry about that last part, Cricket. XD If it helps, he'll never notice?

	Since Anuhea and Cole both generally keep to themselves when left to their own devices, I doubt these two are tight but he likes her well-enough too. Fellow fishie~! 	Hi Katie! Joanna highfives a fellow sophomore smartypants and probably likes him a lot. She'll also know him through drama. Will probably likes him too! Dom pobably doesn't know him. Cole will high five, but thinks school is a tooootal drag Joanna, for real. Why can't he just go paint instead? He doesn't understand her work ethic at all. But yes, being in drama automatically makes her a lovely person~

Cole probably likes Will too, because he's full of jokes and stories and such. And, again, Azurcrest parties are pretty fun.

Definitely! So Tabs and Cole might know each other a little more just based on that, depending on how much she listened to his grumbly over-protective brother. Also, another lovely drama person!

Ferris would know of him and hate him for getting to be at least what looks like a slacker and get away with it. Not fair!

Katya says fuck yeah I'm a spy what you wanna do about it? Also love that you picked that one as an example.

Trixie is in drama and her sister does all of that behind the scenes thing, she's a special ex person for film so if he'd like some pointers or something when it comes to that, Trixie can help guide the best she can!

	AGREED. Cole and Ree must hang out and be artist-y and talk about the alma mater (or whatever)~ Cole and Gabi don't have a ton in common, but she's nice and if she's willing to put up with his nonsense, he probably likes her. So, after their talk on the journals, I'm pretty sure Cole thinks Zoey is the bee's knees~ Arty upperclassman with amazing ideas! She's the best. He wants to paint all the cabins with you, Z-senpai!

Cole is still new to costuming, but he'll dive in head first and he's been practicing all summer. They should make elaborately awesome Halloween costumes for reals~ But yes, I imagine he likes Laurel quite a bit.

OK SO. Ravi is a fellow Horned Serpent Ribbonfin who was in the same year as Cole's brother, so he's known Cole for some time! Ravi thinks well of how chill Cole is and would readily praise his artistic talents, and generally act big brothery in Nate Moss' absence.

I just introed Micah here, but lemme hit you with my thoughts because I was excited to see they were Horned Serpent roommates!!! Cole would've definitely known when Micah's own overprotective older brother died, when they were 13. Micah finished out the school year in a state of extreme numbness and going through the motions, but he applied to go to Gooseberry with Cole and turned that ALL AROUND by being so FUN and ALWAYS ON THE GO and CRACKING JOKES ABOUT EVERYTHING.

I feel like Micah's always liked Cole—both of them are a little scattered and into artistic things, and Micah's not competitive or invested enough to feel bothered by how easily everything comes to Cole. They might also clash because Micah's extra gregarious where Cole is socially awkward, and he usually tends to be insincere and exaggerated and never says anything seriously. But Micah was bummed when Cole ended up in a different house, and probably makes special effort to bug him a lot because OLD FRIENDS, dude.

Sy probably doesn't take much notice of Cole, and Mina only gets competitive with Drama kids who share the stage, but they might run into each other around the game. (:

Aww, Ravi~ You're just about the opposite of Cole's actual brother, but he'll welcome this kinder, gentler style of big brothering for sure. Even if he probably does try to make him follow rules and stuff. Also, he wants to hear all about your LARP man and go Horned Serpent-Ribbonfins!

As to Micah, I love all of this and am definitely down for these two to be close. Cole wouldn't have known what to do for Micah at all after his brother died and probably struggled to not just fade out of his life entirely (because withdrawing is sort of what he does when he's uncomfortable). He's glad that he seems to be doing better now and probably does like his weird, artsy, passionate, film-obsessed self quite a bit. Also, Micah can probably talk Cole into anything. So. USE YOUR POWER WISELY. ♥

Sy and Mina, Cole is probably weirdly okay with. Abrasive and bossy aren't really that big a deal to him and both of them generally mean what they say, so that makes his socially inept life easier.

Hey hey! I do not have very much for you here but HE'S PRECIOUS

Ivy's in the same house as he is and she's always secretly wanted to be an ARTIST so she's low key fond of him. She's always been helpful with the freshmen so she could've maybe shown him around last year or whatever?

Clementine is in a different year and house and was in a different year and house at Ilvermorny, but she did go there, so they might know eachother in passing. She's also in drama! But they're also super-different personality wise so I wouldn't imagine they know each other very well.

Your abundance of CCCs could be worse! Take it from a Kas playing a Kurt; my next character is definitely not going to be Keisha Sargent, no matter how awesome her name is. & based on his first entry I already love himmmm.

Kurt's a year above in Ribbonfin and was at Ilvermorny (in a different house). Since he's another socially naive and occasionally gullible guy who's in Drama (though the cast side), I think Cole and Kurt should be friiieeeeeeends!

Quinn doesn't have much to do with him. As long as he keeps not getting in trouble she's just like "✌️ team cole or whatevs"

also, sometimes the PB looks so close to keenan johnson for me. it's uncanny sometimes and impossible to believe that i would think that at others. I AM CONFUSED.

Ursula. Loves any duckling who believes what she says. He is a precious little space cadet that she will probably pester ~~when I am better at juggling characters urk.~~

Essie. They're actually a lot alike other than the part where she is VERY ENERGETIC and he is so not at all??? Different artistic focuses, but yeah. Similar classes, etc. Smart without properly applying themselves, though Essie is not at all getting competitive grades with Calvin. I AM KIND OF TORN since they would def have seen a ton of each other during Freshmen year but they also seem like two people who see each other constantly yet are just kind of like "Hello, you exist". ~~Also he's not a ~Senior~.~~ BUT Essie def is all for doing stuff with Micah as long as he manages to reel in the super weird gross talk. Super gross movies are okay but Micah says some really ?????? things too. Omg this is super rambly and super not helpful. ._. RIGHT NOW ESSIE THINKS COLE IS A GREAT REBOUND PROSPECT FOR PIPPA. HE ISN'T MEAN AND HIS HAIR IS VERY NICE TOO.

OKAY so I'm FINALLY getting caught up on replying to intros and AHHH COLE. Obviously there's already been a little bit of interaction between him and Pippa, but ahhh I'm excited for another Ribbonfin sophomore! They can be naive together and believe ALL the rumours. Pippa will try to look over Cole's shoulder while he's drawing because he's so talented! And it's so fascinating! And while she'll try SO HARD to be quiet you just know she's going be chattering away, asking him loads of questions about art.

Henrietta probably won't have much overlap with Cole. She doesn't have anything against him though, and is probably like HUH where did that cute sophomore come from???
