Hey guys! I'm Alison and I have two characters here (so far... anyone who's played with me before will probably know I laugh in the face of character limits :-P). Character one is Barney Dunstan, a bouncy and somewhat clueless Hufflepuff in Cedric's year. He's very sporty, very physical, he lives on a farm and he has the worst case of verbal diarrhoea known to man. He just cannot stop saying everything that comes into his head, and it makes other people's heads hurt apparently. Ah well. He's a sweet guy, not a malicious bone in his body, but he's a bit dim and clueless about a lot of things, including girls. His bio is here if you want to check it out. He's Team Cedric all the way :-)

The other is Alicia Spinnet (accio_alicia), who is a... highly opinionated young lady. Other than Quidditch, she's most well known for being very outspoken, especially with regards to feminism. She's friendly and smart and if you can deal with having debates every five minutes about everything under the sun, she'd be a good friend to have. Her bio is here. Alicia is good friends with Harry and so she's Team Harry. She does, however, enjoy looking at Cedric, so she will probably ~~giggle~~ cheer for him as well ;-)

I've left Barney's mother's name blank if anyone wants to be cousins, and I've also given Alicia a sister in the year above, if anyone's interested in applying for her :-D

Patricia here. And I know you've heard me blabbering about my boys enough times, but here's a brief recap.

Hamish Fraser (this journal) is in the same year as both of yours, who will also know him from Quidditch (he keeps for Ravenclaw) and for being the identical twin of Cassius Warrington from Slytherin. Let's not dwell on the fact they have different surnames and speak with different accents, as it's a long story. Hamish and Barney can talk about farming and be clueless about girls together, though I daresay Barney might end up doing most of the talking. He might be a bit scared of Alicia, but we'll have to wait and see how they'll get along in game as he's not as intimidated by loud, opinionated girls than he is by the Lavender Brown types.

And Cormac McLaggen (

myownfanclub) is in fifth year and is absolutely awesome - his words, not mine. he's basically a younger version of the Cormac I've been NPCing recently: loud, rude, hot-tempered but deep inside a rather decent fellow, can talk about himself for hours, incapable of getting a hint, and unsuccessfully trying to rebel from his purist horse-breeding family (which includes a curly-haired baby brother who threatens to outgrow him some day) ever since he realized that Muggles are not so bad and that he'd rather play Quidditch than work with horses. He'd tolerate Barney if his incessant babbling was about how great he is, but since it isn't he thinks Barney is an idiot. He doesn't really get feminism so I expect some clashing with Alicia. Oh, and he'll be Team Harry because rah rah Gryffindor!

Barney wants to be friends with Hamish! He is happy to do the talking. Their Quidditch interaction will be from opposite ends of the pitch, as Barney is a Keeper too :-) (Yes, I read the long story...) Alicia, on the other hand, will have shot plenty of goals towards him and probably taken some penalties too, as she's always the Chaser who is shown taking the penalties in canon. Off the pitch she's less interested, although she says he has cool hair.

Barney is, of course, completely oblivious to being thought of as an idiot, so... that's fun. Alicia probably involves herself in Cormac's life more than he really wishes. She thinks it's her responsibility to educate him. But yes, clashing is very much to be expected! I think she'll be infuriated by him but also kind of amused sometimes.

Keeper bonding. :) Hamish goes a bit O_O at her compliment and stammers an embarrassed "Um... thanks?"

Let's hope Cormac will get bored after a while, then, as it's not the same thing when they don't get it. Oh yes, clashing will definitely happen as his natural stubbornness makes him react badly at any attempt to educate him. It's better to let him reach his conclusions by himself, as with the blood purity issue, but I doubt Alicia will go for that route.
