Arlene is Cuban and was thirty-four in Torchwood. Making these reminded me of how much I loved her character and was mad that she died :'( I'll be back to icon her other two episodes one day, but for now I've got my sad pants on.

I'm not actually too sure on Nina's age or ethnicity. I've put thirties guessing off her looking a bit older than her 30yo costar Kristin Kreuk EDIT: She was thirty-two; as for her ethnicity, a lot of articles say Latina and her character's surname is Vargas but one of her costars calls her black, so possibly mixed or black Latina.
