Who: Laney and Alfie
What: late night sneaking around
When: tonight! around 1ish
Where: outside the Tibbits house
Rated: TBD but can't be too high cause they're young'ns, except for language maybe

Laney had a plan. She'd been formulating it all night in her room. A bag was packed, her bed was made-- something of a 'fuck you' to mom and dad if they ever caught her-- and she'd already changed into some of her bigger clothes. All she had to do was wait until her parents went to bed. They were pretty routinely, so Laney figured around one or so, she'd be good to leave.

The clock seemed to take hours to pass midnight, and she used the last minutes of her time to quietly and slowly open her window. The screen was removed long ago, and the crate she'd strategically placed under her sill was, thankfully, still there. The only thing she could foresee as an issue was the cold outside, but she'd rolled up a towel and placed it on the bottom of her bedroom door to prevent the draft from spreading throughout the house. She was a thinker, Laney. It was just too bad she used her brains for misdeeds, rather than things like school and homework.

By the time the clock said 1:01, Laney was hopping down on the crate looking twenty years old. Slowly, she shut the window half way and proceeded in the directly towards Alfie's house. She figured if she looked older, no one would stop her to ask her why she was out so late. Older people didn't have to answer to anyone. And it was definitely suspicious for a fourteen year old to be prancing down the street with a backpack past midnight.

She reached Alfie's house around half past one, and hid in the bushes to age down and change her clothes. She figured Alfie would want to see her changed self, but knew if his mom woke up and came outside, it'd look awfully suspicious. She hated to think about consequences, but this was Alfie and she didn't want to get him in trouble. Once back to normal, she left her bag where she changed and bent down to pick up a few tiny pebbles. Aiming for Alfie's window, she threw one, two and then three at the glass. Hopefully, he'd wake up.

Alfie lightly kissed her forehead when she pulled up to look at him. He wasn't sure what had prompted him to do such a thing, though it felt very natural to him. He chuckled a little at her answer before letting his hand drop to find hers. Gentle as butterfly, he thought to himself so as to not crush her hand in his. It sucked that he always had to be thinking gay stuff like that, but he didn't really want to hurt anyone, especially not Laney. "Then hang out, we will."

His impersonation of the Yoda voice was a little too high-pitched, but it worked well over all. He tugged lightly at her hand, so that they could walk over to his bed. Taking a seat, he motioned for her to sit next to him and then shrugged at her question. "Yeah I guess. All the lights are off, so they all must be in bed."

She blinked when he kissed her forehead. It wasn't something that he'd done before. She didn't hate it, but it seemed so...romantic. She hadn't known Alfie to be romantic before. She hadn't thought of herself as any kind of girly girl who liked that sort of thing, either. However... she kind of liked what he'd just done. Not that she'd ever admit it. Never. But she wouldn't stop him if he did it again.

The corners of her mouth tugged upward at his impersonation. He always knew just how to make her smile. "Shut up," she laughed, pushing him away from her lightly, but then she followed his lead and sat down next to him. He was right, though. All the lights were off. She hadn't noticed before just how dark it was in the room. "Hmm. What do you want to do? Play video games or something?" She really should have come over with a plan. She almost felt like she was intruding without something to do.

Alfie smirked at her as she pushed him. They were always ribbing each other, sometimes more literally than others. It was just the way their relationship worked. They could be serious at times and completely playful at others. Right now though, Alfie was feeling a bit serious. Perhaps it was the time of the night or perhaps it was the darkness of the room and his house. He felt like it wasn't really a time to play... at least not video games.

It felt awkward verbalizing what exactly he wanted to do with her, considering the last time they had done something other than play video games they had nearly given his father a heart attack. He was pretty sure that to this day, his father couldn't look him straight in the eye, and vice versa. So, given that there was no easy way to say what he was thinking, Alfie simply leaned over to her and with a grin said, "How about this?"

And he kissed her lips softly, his fingers tipping her chin up a tiny bit.
