Alfie smirked at her as she pushed him. They were always ribbing each other, sometimes more literally than others. It was just the way their relationship worked. They could be serious at times and completely playful at others. Right now though, Alfie was feeling a bit serious. Perhaps it was the time of the night or perhaps it was the darkness of the room and his house. He felt like it wasn't really a time to play... at least not video games.
It felt awkward verbalizing what exactly he wanted to do with her, considering the last time they had done something other than play video games they had nearly given his father a heart attack. He was pretty sure that to this day, his father couldn't look him straight in the eye, and vice versa. So, given that there was no easy way to say what he was thinking, Alfie simply leaned over to her and with a grin said, "How about this?"
And he kissed her lips softly, his fingers tipping her chin up a tiny bit.
