Mmmm New Character Smell
So!

Characters? Everyone remembers distantly the media storm that was the whirlwind courtship, marriage and divorce of one Emma Frost and Warren Worthington III. Oh yes, no couch jumping but we were close when the inevitable happened and the two split as loudly as they had gotten together.

Some say their pre-nup was powered by the force of a thousand lawyers' cold dead hearts. *spooky fingers*

Thusly, Warren is greatly involved in the funding of the Academy, but he don' come 'round here no' mo' to avoid You Know Who. But this is why we invent daughters.

Meet Contessa Harlow Worthington, mostly called Duckie, one of those unfortunate nicknames that occurs in adolescence. She was time-shared between the two parents so if you grew up in the Mighty Mutant Marching Society, you probably remember her. Hey! You might have even given her the nickname! Any takers?

Ursula made the Spider-Man movies for me, 2 and 3. Truefax. =)

Of course! Duckie's remarkably easy to get along with and May being a more jockular kind of gal probably does the gawky socialite some good. Ever seen a chick with an extra 16 feet attached to her back play basketball? It's funnier than you think. =D

And Richard! Oh my. The good news is that Duckie tends to take what her father says with a grain of salt so expect no prejudice from the Duck. They'll probably milled around at the same social events and complained of the food.

Once she recovers from her ten point landing, I cannot wait for her to meet the new folk.
