Mmmm New Character Smell
So!

Characters? Everyone remembers distantly the media storm that was the whirlwind courtship, marriage and divorce of one Emma Frost and Warren Worthington III. Oh yes, no couch jumping but we were close when the inevitable happened and the two split as loudly as they had gotten together.

Some say their pre-nup was powered by the force of a thousand lawyers' cold dead hearts. *spooky fingers*

Thusly, Warren is greatly involved in the funding of the Academy, but he don' come 'round here no' mo' to avoid You Know Who. But this is why we invent daughters.

Meet Contessa Harlow Worthington, mostly called Duckie, one of those unfortunate nicknames that occurs in adolescence. She was time-shared between the two parents so if you grew up in the Mighty Mutant Marching Society, you probably remember her. Hey! You might have even given her the nickname! Any takers?

Chester...may be in ~love~

Sammy would be polite but he probably knows her through his father and her parents? Maybe she met him once at a 'Ducky, look after the kids while the parents get drunk' sort of thing?

Coop is stifling a laugh, but would be friendly.

Heath would maybe like to see an unrequited crush?

Chester... yeah. XD

Duckie is Queen of Celebrity Babysitting. There was even an article in People when she was still in her teens.

Coop's a nice guy.

Heath would like to see an unrequited crush from her to him? He presumes. =D

Chester would pick her flowers and want to touch her wings. Hopefully the four digits on each hand isn't a turn off.

Good! And seeing as how Rich and Powerful runs at the school, Roberto may ask her to keep an eye on Sammy. He knows what kind of hooligans are at the school.

Marz would really like to go flying with her...which means Heath's along for the ride.

Hey! I'll have you know that those wings are rather sensitive! All sorts of nerve endings in there...

Hooligans? Duckie is certainly on the case! =D

Whether he likes it or not? XD "I'm sorry, I think I'm in a romantic entanglement with your tattoo."

Chester says they're pretty but would stop if she told him too.

Shenanigans, all around.

"Sorry, luv, but my tattoo can't reproduce. Didn't have the funds to put a dick on 'im."

And I'll admit they do look all eight shades of touchable.

No one knows what it's like... to be a dustbin... in Shaftesbury... with hooligans. ...

"One? Way too much information! And two, is that your arm around me or is your tattoo happy to see me?"

Sarah: Thinks all Frost's are evil. Beginning, middle, and end of story. Possibly thinks that Duckie is the exception taht proves the rule, but is withholding judgment.

Ryan: Ryan's been around The Academy/ X-Mansion on and off since he was little (mostly keeping Wes company) so their paths may have crossed. He probably made some unfortunate duck hunting jokes at some point.

Charlie: Has been around The Academy since he was a teenager, thinks her wings are neat. Thinks she's pretty cool for the whole Peace Crops thing.

Heather: might not know her! Well, know her personally ...

Connie totally owns her Duckie heritage. Bring on the bad jokes! =D

Duckie! Love her already!

Jimmy probably wouldn't notice her.

Magnar would, but I doubt he'd have much anything to do with her.

Sean! (and Tom!) Would totally know her. They probably saw a lot of each other growing up, Headmaster Sean is their grandpa. Sean and her probably played together, he would've liked her, gotten along with her.

UM. I KNOW THIS IS SO PREDICTABLE BUT:

Phil likes her! She's like one of them cousin folk he never had.

Jay doesn't care.

Joan probably hates her?

Phil is one of the reasons her parent's talk on the bees and the birds didn't make sense ('Wait, if a mommy and a daddy are where babies come from, then who's Pete?'). Other than that, they be old school yo. =)

Bring on the hate, Joan.

Joan dislikes other blondes.

I just realized those two escaped captivity around the same time! Only Phil went to college and Duckie went to ... Rio. Then Monaco. Then Sicily. Then Africa for an extended stay.

The handshake involves at least one full rotation and possibly a hop or two.

Dane? works with her. He possibly, maybe had a crush once, but who knows. Now he thinks she's cool.

Wes? Loves the duck hunting jokes. Tries to stop but can't. He enjoys teasing her, but likes her fine. Oddly, with Duckie? He does not flirt.

Andi? Like, OMG, celebrity kids. She knows it! And the big sister thing is there, as Duckie... er... Connie used to babysit her. Andi loves her like a big sis. I think a goofy nickname to be revealed later will had been established.

OMG. I love you. I love your PB. I could die right now.

Jack probably adores her and they're around the same age. :D Benjy doesn't know her well but has no objections. Casey hates her. Because ... she hates everyone she hasn't gotten to know yet.

Duckie is a fine source of anti-stress and Jack's welcome at her door at any time. And Casey? You keep on hatin', girl. =)

Christian loves his half-sister of course! But secretly envies the fact she turned out to be 'good', unlike his ethically challenged self :O

Bart might know or heard of her through the Paige/Warren thing if they're even together still!

omg it's Ursula Duckie! She's cute. XD

My's around her age, would probably know/like her. Friends, yes/no?

Reilly would also probably know her, since he's spent a few years at the school. (Dear God, I need to post for Reilly. XD)

Gertie is new to the school, but I can't see her NOT getting along with Ducky. XD

And ... Richaaaard ... would probably know OF her. Maybe met her at some point...? Since they were both Rich Kids and kind of still are. XD Fisk probably did business with Worthington at some point after he moved back to the states from France.

Ursula made the Spider-Man movies for me, 2 and 3. Truefax. =)

Of course! Duckie's remarkably easy to get along with and May being a more jockular kind of gal probably does the gawky socialite some good. Ever seen a chick with an extra 16 feet attached to her back play basketball? It's funnier than you think. =D

And Richard! Oh my. The good news is that Duckie tends to take what her father says with a grain of salt so expect no prejudice from the Duck. They'll probably milled around at the same social events and complained of the food.

Once she recovers from her ten point landing, I cannot wait for her to meet the new folk.
