Nobody likes Val Kilmer.
Goddag venner,

I suck at clever beginnings, so I'll make this as concise as I can. I run under the sobriquet 'Adrien' in these dismal parts and I bring you Parker Charles Henry Drake, the unanticipated offspring of original X-man Iceman and his beloved wife, the late Firestar. Bobby Dee himself said "fire and ice don't really mix", but for the sake of the game and for my own sanity, he and Angel set aside their differences and hitched most harmoniously. Whether or not his mother's premature death and consequent absence held any sway over the development of his powers and person, he seems to have inherited an advanced form of his fathers wintry abilities and (endearingly yet sometimes irksomely) puckish personality. Because of his affinity for cryogenics, he was aptly dubbed 'Cryogen' upon graduation from the Academy and has been a member of both team X-Men and X-Factor (the story behind which in addition to other information can be found in the first post of this journal). I'm afraid I haven't much else to say because much else has yet to be established; please, please, please hit me up via private message or via email at kickingcorpses@gmail.com or via AIM at votre cicatrice should even the barest inkling of a possible rapport between your character and mine strike you in any which way.

Excelsior and all that jazz,
Adrien and P. Drake

OH hai thar, my name's K.D. :) And I have three puppets here!

[info]benjy_p: Benjamin Parker, Spidey's son, May Parker's little brother. MJ's probably the only one in the family who doesn't get called "Parker" every so often, so there might be some confusion there from time to time. XD Just like there's Pete Parker, Pete Wisdom, and Pete McCoy. DOES IT BLOW YOUR MIND?! Benjy's 16, he's an absent-minded little puppy but a real science nerd, he's hard of hearing thanks to his sister, and ... stuff :D

[info]hypersensed: Jackie Murdock, Daredevil's kid with Milla Donovan. His dad's dead, his mother's in an asylum, but he's a pretty nice guy. He's probably a little put off by Parker but that doesn't mean he won't like him. XD

[info]_unstoppable: Casey Carter, Juggernaut's daughter. Allegedly. She's never met daddy. She's 15, she's four-foot-eleven, and she'll kick your ass ten times over if you look at her sideways. Doesn't like Parker because she doesn't like ANYONE right now. :D

Hola, K.D.

You and me and the rest o' the Parkers should talk tightness, 'cause the Amazing Spiderman wouldn't be nothin' if it weren't for his Amazing Friends. I know that just because the parents were close doesn't mean that the children will be, but at the very least they should have fond (or scarring) memories of when they were all young and thrust together at reunions and the like.

Why would Jackie be put off? In any case, Parker'll probably think very highly of him but with no real desire to nurture any sort of relationship - you'll find that he's a markedly open person and becomes markedly fidgety(er?) around people who are markedly private.

As for Casey, it's more than likely that Parker will treat her with the same amount of snark and sociability and (believe it or not) genuine kindness with which he treats most people. Not to worry - he isn't painfully cheerful or smiley nor does he want to "save" or "teach" her - he's just an all around good (bad-ass-smart-ass) guy.

p.s. Try to kick his ass, short stuff, and he'll cryogenically freeze you in motion. I jest, I jest. Sort of. Anyhow, he's open (as I've said to practically everyone else) for witty banter if ever CC wants to duke it out verbally.

Totally! Totes on the tightness :D Parker and May are closer in age so they might be better friends, but if the families are close-like Benjy might be looking at a big-brother-figure-person (who is WAY cooler than Jack, who is his other big-brother-figure but is not that cool).

The impression I get of Parker is that he's the extroverted, fun, rebellious type. XD Jackie's a little put off by loud people. He's definitely markedly private and Parker's markedly open, and ... exactly the same, Jackie's fidgety around really open people. I think he LIKES Parker, though... as opposed to Reilly, who is markedly open and just someone that Jack wants to smack the shit out of. XD

Grand! Casey's... well, she's not all that witty but she TRIES to be. She tends to go "buh, words fail, smash" ... but there's a decent-type person in there somewhere so Parker might bring out some good things in her. :D

Tight families FTW, man. Parker would totally dig the big bro position. I haven't had a chance to talk to May's puppeteer as of yet, but I'll hit her up for ideas when I can.

Everybody wants to smack the shit out of Reilly. Whoever that is. Teh. Anyhow, respectful distance sounds good to me.

Casey & good things? Swank. They'll mayhap run into each other more often than not 'cause I think I'm going to stick Parker in 109 Xavier, though I still haven't figured out the dorm dynamics...

Benjy definitely needs a totally awesome big brother person to look up to because... he's a nerd but he desperately WANTS to be cool, and Parker seems like the perfect kind of person that he'd want to look up to. XD
