Nobody likes Val Kilmer.
Goddag venner,

I suck at clever beginnings, so I'll make this as concise as I can. I run under the sobriquet 'Adrien' in these dismal parts and I bring you Parker Charles Henry Drake, the unanticipated offspring of original X-man Iceman and his beloved wife, the late Firestar. Bobby Dee himself said "fire and ice don't really mix", but for the sake of the game and for my own sanity, he and Angel set aside their differences and hitched most harmoniously. Whether or not his mother's premature death and consequent absence held any sway over the development of his powers and person, he seems to have inherited an advanced form of his fathers wintry abilities and (endearingly yet sometimes irksomely) puckish personality. Because of his affinity for cryogenics, he was aptly dubbed 'Cryogen' upon graduation from the Academy and has been a member of both team X-Men and X-Factor (the story behind which in addition to other information can be found in the first post of this journal). I'm afraid I haven't much else to say because much else has yet to be established; please, please, please hit me up via private message or via email at kickingcorpses@gmail.com or via AIM at votre cicatrice should even the barest inkling of a possible rapport between your character and mine strike you in any which way.

Excelsior and all that jazz,
Adrien and P. Drake

Yo, Carla. I'll hit you back via email ASAP regarding the Drake-McCoy connection. As to the others, however, Parker does so love them sexy alien princesses and I can pretty much guarantee you that he'll thoroughly enjoy repeatedly sparking witty banter.

I jest, I jest. There's nothin' wrong with Val Kilmer. Just irks me when people immediately think of 'Top Gun' when I say 'Iceman'. Anyhow - hullo-hullo, I sense a disturbance in the force some potential brotherly love (or at the very least some hardcore bickering and friendly scuffling) between Phil and Parker.

I'm a card-carrying dork, I instantly think "Bobby Drake!"

He's been at the school his whole life? Because so has Phil! I can see him being a lot friendlier towards Parker, seeing him as the cousin he never had? Eh? They also have the Hey My Mom Died Of Cancer Too, thing, and I think Carla emailed you about a really good way to connect all the situations.

Andrew here.

This is Heath Cameron, son of Davis Cameron and Marie-Ange Colbert. He controls his 2D tattoos and makes them 3D. Most notably, his dragon tattoo named Marz.

[info]kinetix is Speedball's son. Forcefield and pods that shoot out of his hands. He recently broke a mirror in the bathroom.

[info]looongshot is pretty self-explanatory, but he was the FIRST clone at the school, based on Aurthur Centino's DNA. Raised by Spiral and a lot of stuff is new to him. He has a slightly under-developed mind due to being yanked out of the cyrochamber earlier than anticipated, but hey, anything to aid a revolution against Mojo.

Welcome!

Umm. I'm Emma and I'm glad I'm no longer the new kid! Since I suck at intros too, I will say that this is Milo and he is the son of Avalanche and Mastermind III. He's only a year older then Parker, so I am going to go out on a limb that they know each other. Savvy?

Yo.

Is being the resident greenhorn really that bad? Swank. Anyhow, clashing parents and opinions of humans aside, I think Milo and Parker would get on swimmingly. They both seem to love social interaction and pizza (although that could very well be the basis of a rivalry). Thoughts?

A quick rundown of mine...

[info]sonofabox Jimmy, 18, Sasquatch's son. His sister is [info]truenorth. He has super brain powers, can build most anything he puts his mind to. He's not very social at all, so other than maybe recognizing Parker's face from seeing him around, he probably wouldn't know him much.

[info]magnar Magnar, 17, Quicksilver and Crystal's son. He has elemental powers, is an ass, and has a slight slant toward evil. He seems to enjoy verbal sparring with others, but at other times is just plain rude and hostile, or avoidant. I could see fun interactions between him and Parker.

[info]twiceasloud Sean and Tom, 21, Siryn and Multiple Man's kid(s). Was only Sean, then he multiplied once in an accident when he was 18, and now there's two of him. They have mom's voice powers, but not nearly as strong. They have their dad's sense of humor and their mom's alcoholism fondness for the drink. They're pretty friendly and social, but don't like each other very much.

Oh, and I'm bri, the man behind the curtain. I can be found on gmail at counselorbri. Welcome to the game!

'Lo, Bri. Merci pour avoir m'accueillir.

Parker's not much for quiet kids and will probably not interact with Jimbo much beyond referencing him in a few good-humoured jokes, but he's a good guy and will help him out if ever he needs a hand.

I'm sure he'll enjoy out-badassing Magnar. Tee-hee. I don't have much more to say accept that I'm excited to pit them against one another.

He'll probably get a kick out of Tom and Sean. Admittedly, they of all your babies seem like the kind of people with whom Parker's most likely to chill.

Let me know if anything further strikes you.

OH hai thar, my name's K.D. :) And I have three puppets here!

[info]benjy_p: Benjamin Parker, Spidey's son, May Parker's little brother. MJ's probably the only one in the family who doesn't get called "Parker" every so often, so there might be some confusion there from time to time. XD Just like there's Pete Parker, Pete Wisdom, and Pete McCoy. DOES IT BLOW YOUR MIND?! Benjy's 16, he's an absent-minded little puppy but a real science nerd, he's hard of hearing thanks to his sister, and ... stuff :D

[info]hypersensed: Jackie Murdock, Daredevil's kid with Milla Donovan. His dad's dead, his mother's in an asylum, but he's a pretty nice guy. He's probably a little put off by Parker but that doesn't mean he won't like him. XD

[info]_unstoppable: Casey Carter, Juggernaut's daughter. Allegedly. She's never met daddy. She's 15, she's four-foot-eleven, and she'll kick your ass ten times over if you look at her sideways. Doesn't like Parker because she doesn't like ANYONE right now. :D

Hola, K.D.

You and me and the rest o' the Parkers should talk tightness, 'cause the Amazing Spiderman wouldn't be nothin' if it weren't for his Amazing Friends. I know that just because the parents were close doesn't mean that the children will be, but at the very least they should have fond (or scarring) memories of when they were all young and thrust together at reunions and the like.

Why would Jackie be put off? In any case, Parker'll probably think very highly of him but with no real desire to nurture any sort of relationship - you'll find that he's a markedly open person and becomes markedly fidgety(er?) around people who are markedly private.

As for Casey, it's more than likely that Parker will treat her with the same amount of snark and sociability and (believe it or not) genuine kindness with which he treats most people. Not to worry - he isn't painfully cheerful or smiley nor does he want to "save" or "teach" her - he's just an all around good (bad-ass-smart-ass) guy.

p.s. Try to kick his ass, short stuff, and he'll cryogenically freeze you in motion. I jest, I jest. Sort of. Anyhow, he's open (as I've said to practically everyone else) for witty banter if ever CC wants to duke it out verbally.

Totally! Totes on the tightness :D Parker and May are closer in age so they might be better friends, but if the families are close-like Benjy might be looking at a big-brother-figure-person (who is WAY cooler than Jack, who is his other big-brother-figure but is not that cool).

The impression I get of Parker is that he's the extroverted, fun, rebellious type. XD Jackie's a little put off by loud people. He's definitely markedly private and Parker's markedly open, and ... exactly the same, Jackie's fidgety around really open people. I think he LIKES Parker, though... as opposed to Reilly, who is markedly open and just someone that Jack wants to smack the shit out of. XD

Grand! Casey's... well, she's not all that witty but she TRIES to be. She tends to go "buh, words fail, smash" ... but there's a decent-type person in there somewhere so Parker might bring out some good things in her. :D

Tight families FTW, man. Parker would totally dig the big bro position. I haven't had a chance to talk to May's puppeteer as of yet, but I'll hit her up for ideas when I can.

Everybody wants to smack the shit out of Reilly. Whoever that is. Teh. Anyhow, respectful distance sounds good to me.

Casey & good things? Swank. They'll mayhap run into each other more often than not 'cause I think I'm going to stick Parker in 109 Xavier, though I still haven't figured out the dorm dynamics...

Benjy definitely needs a totally awesome big brother person to look up to because... he's a nerd but he desperately WANTS to be cool, and Parker seems like the perfect kind of person that he'd want to look up to. XD

Anyhow, I think ickle diamond Christie-poo (I jest, I jest) and Parker are in for a handsome rivalry. Granted, I'll have to talk to Headmistress Frosty-mun/mod about the details, but it's practically canon considering the animosity between Emma and Bobby/Angel. I'm excited.

Hello! I'm Chaku and I have two here:

Quin Espinosa [info]agile: He's the brat of Jubilee/Angelo, bit of a free spirit, the guidance counselor, and all around cool guy. He's the son of a prankster, Parker is the son of a prankster, I think they could get along if you like.

Davika Shaara [info]shaaras: She's the daughter of Heather Cameron and Neal Shaara, making her Heath's and Ren's cousin. She went up into space with her parents at age eight and only just last month returned to Earth. She's pretty naïve in the ways of teenage behaviour and cultural references and asks interesting questions, much to Heath's horror.

Welcome to the game!

Hail Chaku. x] Thanks for the welcome.

I think Quin and Parker will get on famously. Drake's one social little mofo, so his schedule isn't exactly empty, but I could certainly see him swooping by Mr Espinosa's office every then and again just for the hell of it.

Unlike Heath, he'll likely never be very put off by Davika's apparently-sometimes-uncouth questions. On the contrary, he'll actually find it pretty damn amusing. Not to worry, he's a good guy under all the snark and won't poke too much fun and will actually (believe it or not) answer any queries she shoots at him as honestly and genuinely as he can.

Hola! I'm Kelly one of the mods, and I have:

[info]prydenwisdom Sarah Wisdom (Pete Wisdom and Kitty Pryde's daughter) member of the X-men, she's a night owl, and somewhat sarcastic. So yay former teammates!

[info]arrowcraft Ryan Barton (Wanda Maximoff and Clint Barton's son) his tiwn is [info]magikbow. He's on X-factor so yay for current teammates!

[info]clawed_eh is Charlie Cooper (Logan and Val Cooper) and he's the lirbarain here at the school. I suspect if there's any type of highjinks in Parker's past involving the library or books, Charlie might be a bit '….' Towards him.

[info]truenorth is Heather Langowski, one of the students here, and a rather quiet, shy character.

Buona giorno/sera, Kelly-mod.

Considering the kind of person Ghost seems to be, you can probably bet that Parker had the hots for her back in his last years in high school. As much of a flirt as he remains to this day, he's not as keen as finding a lady friend as one might expect so I think they'd make swell friends. Your call.

I'm not quite sure how Parker'll react to Ryan (whooo teammates indeed). Although they both seem to be social kids with a strong dislike of solitude, some of Ryan's behaviours (i.e. phoning at ungodly hours of the morning and walking away mid-witty banter) will prolly confuse the hell out of him.

Library pranks? Oh no, no, no. Cryogen's a smarmy little bastard, but he's "beyond" the first tier of smart-assity involving most practical jokes. Regardless, Coop will still probably be very "..." towards him 'cause he'll probably have told Parker to STFU while in the building a billion times.

As for Heather - unwarrantably timid people generally irk Parker, but by no means does he hate any of them. You'll be glad to know, however, that he doesn't make fun of anyone who can't make fun of him back.

Haha, that works regarding Ryan and Parker. Because yeah, Ryan has some bad social skills at times, and just does not like to fight with non super villain peoples. At all.

I'm late! I'm late!

Hiya! Other mod, Jory here. I've got three to play with.

Wes [info]magikbow is Ryan's twin and is not only into the sharp-shooting magic (but not as good as Ryan) he is also a mutant. He's on Xfactor. He's also flirty and cocky.

Dane [info]magnetickinetic is on Xmen. He does not not do his Daddy proud in the lady dept, but he's really good with the kinetic charges. He's also developing magnetic stuff - but nothing like his Mom's. He's my nice guy, but that could change some day.

Andi [info]hothothot is a former childstar trying to make it again. She doesn't care that she's got Daddy's fire and Mommy's lights, she wants to get her acting career back. She's very social.

And Val Kilmer won me in Real Genius and Top Secret, but not so much else.

Yo, Jory-mod.

As you've probably already gathered, Parker's flirty and cocky, too, but in a really deliberately comical way. I see the makings of a great mock rivalry.

NO, LEBEAU! Stay with the light. x] Haven't quite tasted his personality, but judging by his hella generous gift, I'll say he and Drake'll get on swimmingly.

As for Andi, I think Parker's gonna get a kick out of messing with her. In a good-humoured way, of course. You have been warned.

I rest my case!
