Nobody likes Val Kilmer.
Goddag venner,

I suck at clever beginnings, so I'll make this as concise as I can. I run under the sobriquet 'Adrien' in these dismal parts and I bring you Parker Charles Henry Drake, the unanticipated offspring of original X-man Iceman and his beloved wife, the late Firestar. Bobby Dee himself said "fire and ice don't really mix", but for the sake of the game and for my own sanity, he and Angel set aside their differences and hitched most harmoniously. Whether or not his mother's premature death and consequent absence held any sway over the development of his powers and person, he seems to have inherited an advanced form of his fathers wintry abilities and (endearingly yet sometimes irksomely) puckish personality. Because of his affinity for cryogenics, he was aptly dubbed 'Cryogen' upon graduation from the Academy and has been a member of both team X-Men and X-Factor (the story behind which in addition to other information can be found in the first post of this journal). I'm afraid I haven't much else to say because much else has yet to be established; please, please, please hit me up via private message or via email at kickingcorpses@gmail.com or via AIM at votre cicatrice should even the barest inkling of a possible rapport between your character and mine strike you in any which way.

Excelsior and all that jazz,
Adrien and P. Drake

A quick rundown of mine...

[info]sonofabox Jimmy, 18, Sasquatch's son. His sister is [info]truenorth. He has super brain powers, can build most anything he puts his mind to. He's not very social at all, so other than maybe recognizing Parker's face from seeing him around, he probably wouldn't know him much.

[info]magnar Magnar, 17, Quicksilver and Crystal's son. He has elemental powers, is an ass, and has a slight slant toward evil. He seems to enjoy verbal sparring with others, but at other times is just plain rude and hostile, or avoidant. I could see fun interactions between him and Parker.

[info]twiceasloud Sean and Tom, 21, Siryn and Multiple Man's kid(s). Was only Sean, then he multiplied once in an accident when he was 18, and now there's two of him. They have mom's voice powers, but not nearly as strong. They have their dad's sense of humor and their mom's alcoholism fondness for the drink. They're pretty friendly and social, but don't like each other very much.

Oh, and I'm bri, the man behind the curtain. I can be found on gmail at counselorbri. Welcome to the game!

'Lo, Bri. Merci pour avoir m'accueillir.

Parker's not much for quiet kids and will probably not interact with Jimbo much beyond referencing him in a few good-humoured jokes, but he's a good guy and will help him out if ever he needs a hand.

I'm sure he'll enjoy out-badassing Magnar. Tee-hee. I don't have much more to say accept that I'm excited to pit them against one another.

He'll probably get a kick out of Tom and Sean. Admittedly, they of all your babies seem like the kind of people with whom Parker's most likely to chill.

Let me know if anything further strikes you.
