Who: Percy Weasley & the Planning Department - Daphne, Helena, Jasper, Lysander, Mike, Molly, Roxie, Victorie
When: Wednesday, September 11, 8:00 am
Where: The office where the Planning Department meets
What: At the beginning of the meeting, Percy realizes he's been pranked.
Note: I'm going to be super busy tomorrow morning so I'm putting it up tonight.
The rebuilding of the village was progressing very nicely... it wouldn't be long before they were finished. Even though they were almost through, that didn't mean the meetings would be any less demanding. If anything, Percy wanted more from his teammates, wanting nothing less than excellence, asking them to take their skills beyond their usual limits. And so far, Percy was quite proud of their accomplishments. Yes, there were some resistance and a fair share of grumbling, but Percy was convinced they would thank him in the end.
Percy arrived fifteen minutes before the meeting was scheduled so he could collect this notes and he found there was already a freshly brewed pot of coffee there. Oh. The Food and Entertainment Department must've provided it?, thought Percy. The smell was so tantalizing, that he helped himself to a cup.
He took a hearty sip and smiled wide. Flavored coffee! There was a distinct caramel or toffee flavor that was delicious. Percy smacked his lips from the taste and greedily helped himself to a second cup. He made a mental note to thank Hannah. If she sold coffee like this in her new bakery, he would definitely visit there every morning.
Teammates came filtering in and taking their seats. Percy sat at the head of the table, nodding a welcome to each one while he shifted through his documents, sipping his coffee. When the clock exactly struck 8:00, Percy set his notes down and turned to Victoire, their Team Secretary, to ask her to read the minutes from their last minute. But when he opened his mouth to speak his words came out garbled.
"Pteast resasa a myhuntes tha...hwah? Wtats gurerererrg onetph?" It suddenly became clear that some sort of prank had been played on him, and he became infuriated, suddenly shouting, "WQRE DUDTTS PSSIT? AY DENNANDND DAT KEEROW TEASAE...!" The more he spoke the more his tongue would not cooperate. Finally, realizing that he was sounding like an idiot, Percy slammed his fists on the table in anger and frustration, then suddenly stood up and stormed out of the room, his face red as a beet.
