They'll try to push drugs; keep us all dumbed down and hope that we will never see the truth around.
Who: Cronus (usurped_usurper) and Rhea (serves_stones)
What: Reunion.
Where: Barnes & Noble
When: Sunday afternoon.
Warnings: None.
Even after all these millennia that had passed by, Cronus still had an air about him; an invisible aura that kept the mortals at bay, that made them think twice about even wanting to stand near him, stopped them from doing more than glancing at him and turning away quickly. The air of authority had not dissipated after all these wretched years, and even though right now he looked like he hadn't aged a day since he overthrew his father and claimed the throne for himself, his presence was still as commanding as it was foreboding.
Sometimes that wasn't a helpful thing - people tended to clam up when they get intimidated for whatever reason. But right now he was quite content to be left alone, standing at the magazine stands in the home and living section, flipping through a gardening magazine. He had recently decided on an oriental-themed garden and had already acquired a few bits and pieces. All he needed was obviously the advice of some pompous, deranged old British man to tell him how he should lay out his Japanese garden.
Strange would be an understatement when it came to describing the world they lived in today.
Maybe he'd get six stones. One for each of his kids with a woman he hadn't seen in however long it had been. It would be cute.
