Travelling with a small troupe of actors was supposed to distract her from the monotone life she led and it had for a short while. All those bright hopeful young minds eager to show off their skills and hoping, always hoping, to be discovered by a talent scout - ugh, as if - had successfully and impressively reminded her just how much she enjoyed the monotone life she'd thought she'd grown tired of.
There really was no place like home. Even though 'home' was located in a foreign country with a density of gods per square metre that struck her as ridiculous.
On a whim Rhea had ventured out and ended up here. As far as random destinations were concerned, a book store wasn't so bad. She might pick up something interesting or another couple of notebooks she would never use, maybe even pick up some research material. Completely lost in the music in her head, mournful strings keeping the world around her at bay, as she let her gaze drift across the shelves absent-mindedly, hoping something would catch her attention.
It was hard to see the items on the topmost shelves from where she was standing so she canted her head back and continued to wander down the aisle. The light tickling sensation she'd been feeling for a while increased but she didn't pay any attention to it until she bumped into someone. Tugging one of the earphones out, she turned around.
"I'm so-"
The apology died on her tongue when she laid eyes on a face she hadn't expected to ever see again.
