"I suspect that we still aren't on talking terms," Cronus commented dryly, although the wry smile betrayed the tone of his voice. He was fully aware of how bitter his children were - Hades, in particular - but he never cared much for their clamours and complaints.
"Which means no. But they will soon."
Midweek was going to be that American holiday, and Cronus would make his presence properly known. He knew that he left a trail wherever he went - made little effort to conceal his presence and they would have all caught on by now - but he wasn't belligerent in nature and was not interested in destroying them.
Playing with them was another matter altogether. Cronus had no qualms with playing with his children the way they did all the time with the mortals in the past.
