Who: Divorce and Greed
What: There's never staying away from the ex. Especially if you're a masochist.
When: Monday early afternoon.
Where: Outside of Mona's publisher's office building.
Rating: Most likely PG-13
People stalked their ex's for many reasons.
Some for money, the custody of their children, maybe because of some lingering affections that would lead to jealousy, or sometimes because of ideas of revenge. However, many of them failed to do anything, if only because of restraining orders and legal binds that wrapped invisible lines around what they desired and missed the most.
But then again. How many of them had a Sin for an ex?
This particular ex-husband wasn't "stalking" per se, but he did want something. Greed had taken the time to look through Mona's journal entries for any hints as to where she might be. He needed to see her; all business, of course. At the moment, if he had went upon his initial want to see her, she wouldn't be good to him dead. Not to mention he never heard of a successful case of death among these New Gods.
Something to "experiment" for a little trial and error for the future. But first, business.
In three more days, Greed's contract with Raum would expire. However, in terms of memories and what this left him, seemed to be rather pitiful and insignificant when Raum had offered to give Greed everything. The Sin was no fool, and yet he was fool enough to fall for such an offer. However, Raum was a Duke of Hell, and if anything, his powers were not to be underestimated. But the catch for being in the demon's service for forever?
That was one thing that Greed had hoped to cheat his way out of. And through his predecessor's messages and hints left behind via note and voice message, the Sin knew that if he wanted a way out, it was through the ex.
Pictures would help pick Mona out from the crowd, and all Greed had to do was sit on a bench opposite the building and wait.
