Mona waved off Greed's protest with an airy, meaningless little gesture, wanting to verbally move past it. The argument -- that she could still feel him as one of hers, so he had to be some kind of the same man -- wasn't worth making. If anyone knew the conflict of one body, two people, it was Divorce. So she might not have really believed what he said, but she could understand why he said it.
"Because the sound of your own voice has always been sweet?" Mona supplied, teasing in a knee-jerk reaction she couldn't quite resist. The face was different and the polish gone, but she thought that she could see the connections between this Greed and the one she'd always known. In some ways, it was a relief. Which didn't turn this one into any less of a pain in the ass.
"No details, because I don't have need or want of your services just yet." Divorce framed the sentence as she did intentionally, watching the Sin for any kind of tell. "All I'd like in trade for helping you is a boon. Your assistance at the time and place of my choosing. And so as to reassure you, my word that what I'd ask of you is nothing you wouldn't already be willing to do."
A serious request for serious business. Her head propped up against her hand, Divorce seemed utterly relaxed. It rather ruined the effect of their conversation. "My word, incidentally, has always been plenty good, though I can understand why you might be strange about trusting the people he did. You can take it or not, and we can move on to your little dilemma. Up to you, Greed."
