Who: Amaterasu and Triton What: Looking for peace (once again) When: Thursday Afternoon Where: A certain tea-house
Triton was badly in need of some peace. He had spent the previous day giving Orpheus some help…..and that had turned out to be a good thing. He had been busy, had worked hard, and had felt tired and satisfied. It had been worthwhile……he would almost certainly do it again.
That, however, was yesterday, and while it had been good for him, he wasn’t….settled. He was still angry, still at a loss for what to do, apart from Athena’s offer of setting up a conference call with Sato’s assistant. He wasn’t entirely sure how he was going to handle that….but he would. Apart from the whole kimono fiasco, there was…..
There was Athena. Ares. What he’d said to her. That had immediately cut him in a way nothing else could have. It had upset him in a way he’d almost forgotten. That he was forced to feel it again had made him furious. No…..that Athena had been forced to feel it all again made him furious.
It was almost impossible to sort out everything else he felt under that. His feelings were tangled, sharp. Triton hated it. There was no use for such feelings in this world, no outlet to channel them into. Without one, they turned inwards. He needed to find…..something.
It was this inner confusion that brought him here, to where he hoped he’d find at least a few minutes of tranquility…..a tea-house seemed like a perfect place to seek it.
He had been told to ask for Natsumi, and so ask he did. Triton didn’t know if he should feel out of place or not, but he didn’t. He waited quietly, hands clasped lightly behind his back. He also hadn’t know whether his usual attire was appropriate…..then remembered a suit was rarely inappropriate in the places he usually found himself. Hopefully, this would be no different.
