[Alphard]

I knew the people who left. That Remus was nice to me. Sirius had only just started talking to me. He told me why he disliked me. He was the first to be honest and upfront about it instead of telling me it wasn't important for me to know because that version of me wasn't the same. I wasn't her.

People tell me that all the time. They always tell me how different I am. He was the only one that explained why.

I think I am quite over visions of the future and people disappearing.

I wish I could say otherwise, but yes. Have you spoken with Marianna? In ~~our~~ my world, her name is Marius. Father's brother. She was disowned because she was born without magic. Our family tapestry comes to have many burn marks on it. I suppose it's sort of a way to officially cast someone out, as if cutting them off entirely wasn't enough.

You protected me from it, in my world. I was meant to be heir, but you shouldered a burden that should have been mine since you were older and better than me. Cygnus picked up the slack. I was a disappointment to Mother and Father, but I don't particularly care about that because I have you and the rest can shove off.

I don't. They do. They have. It's not the first time either, though I'm not sure why they disowned the others. They weren't around in my time. It would be nice if we didn't, but we do. It's a way to make sure that we adhere to traditions. I've always been afraid of being disowned because I'm not exactly traditional. I've never married and I'm 28. Mother and Father tried, but I wriggled out of it every time. If I didn't have siblings, I would have been forced. They had already arranged for you and Orion however, and Cygnus wed as well, so they let it slide.

I don't know why it is either. ~~You were more concerned with it at h-~~ They want the family name to continue on the 'right' way, which basically means they want our line to continue and be synonymous with pure. I'm not sure how you and Orion come to be in your world. I know you did not want it in mine, but you married because you were told to.

You (...) saw the future? Was that an experiment or the (...) magic here? Are you a seer?
