First LGBTQ+ Night @ Wingbeat
Who: Charlie Weasley et al (OPEN, add your tags as you join please)
What: Charlie Opens up for the first LGBTQ+ night
Where: Wingbeat
When: Thursday 25th September, night
Rating: NSFW - Language

Charlie walked through from his office after double checking on the safe. It was hidden at the rear of the second floor, the door heavily warded. He'd been anticipating this night ever since he'd decided on the theme for the extra night and secured the staff for the additional evening. It had the major advantage of not requiring much by he way of additional decorations.

As he walked past the upstairs DJ booth he checked in with the DJ, who nodded as she sorted through her list of potential tracks once more and aimed her wand at the lights, setting the lighting effects going. "Don't forget you leg," she called, just before the music started, low until the doors actually opened. "Fuck!" he muttered, pulling out his wand and aimed it at the prosthetic, clearly visible below the shorts he was wearing to ward against how hot he hoped it would get later. A couple of seconds later it had changed from its usual random patterns to an undulating rainbow flag. It would go well with the few he'd had added to the walls for the night.

He made his way downstairs, glad he'd already checked the toilets on both floors. Stopping over at the bar he had a word with the young woman would be helping him that evening. She was gay herself and had been very enthusiastic when he'd asked her about the new night. She flashed him two thumbs up and wolf-whistled at his leg. He got a similar response, minus the whistle from the guy behind the lower DJ booth, who obligingly set his lights going. Moving through to the entrance area he checked in with both the cloakroom and entrance desk and checked his pocket watch. Just like Ron he'd got one as a coming-of-age gift from his parents, it was a bit dented but still in working order. It was ten seconds before ten and he cast a quick Sonorus on himself. "Ten second warning everybody. Have a great night, don't hesitate if you need me. Usual rules apply." He heard the sound of the music picking up on both floors - general music on both floors for the night - and the two run-arounds appeared from behind the cloakroom desk.

Right on cue at 10pm he spelled the doors open, clapping the two bouncers on the back. They didn't even flinch. He was pleased to see some people already waiting outside and his face spread in a smile.

"Welcome to the first LGBTQ+ night at Wingbeat!" he called, immediately muttering Quietus. He headed back inside then, trusting his staff to take care of everyone as he dashed back to the bar.

Dominic and Open

It wasn't unusual for Dominic to change after work, but normally it was just into another, cleaner t-shirt. Tonight he'd actually fished one of his shirts out of his wardrobe in honour of Wingbeat's first LGBTQ+ night. He arrived early, camera in a shoulder bag. If he happened to spot Charlie he was going to ask if he'd like some photos taken for promotional material, free of charge (and they'd be good for Dominic's portfolio too).

First though, he wanted a drink. He found a space at the bar and ordered a peach daiquiri - because if you couldn't drink colourful cocktails at Queer night, when could you? - before looking around to see if anyone he recognised was already here. He knew Seamus was planning on coming, but probably later in the evening. That bartender handed him drink, calling his attention back to the bar and the figure who'd just stepped into the empty space next to him. "So what do you think so far?" he asked conversationally.

Ernie hadn't originally planned on coming to Wingbeat, thinking it would be too much after a long week involving a patient who was starting to get worse, and no matter how they tested, they still couldn't figure out why. But by the time he'd finished supper, he'd needed something to get his mind off of everything - and with any luck, that something would turn out to be a nice, hard shag. And since Wingbeat was beginning it's LGBTQ+ night, that meant less risk of hitting on unassuming straight blokes.

He went straight to the bar, intent on ordering something fun - alcohol content wasn't his priority as he wasn't out to get drunk tonight - and didn't notice anyone who was already there until a familiar voice spoke from the side.

"Dominic, hey," he said with a grin that may have had a touch of flirtatiousness in it. "It's looking good so far. I'm sure there'll be more people as the night goes on, but it's about time we had something like this. I think we deserve it. What's your poison tonight?"

"Hey," Dominic smiled easily, nothing much on his mind tonight except drinking and people watching. He probably wouldn't dance, unless he had a lot more drunks, but he liked the atmosphere and the lights were actually pretty impressive even if he did say so himself. "I agree. Clubs aren't really my favourite place to meet people, but it's good to have some fun anyway."

He sipped his drink and smiled again. It was perfect. Made, he'd guess, with real peach and not some artificial syrup. "Peach daiquiri," he answered. "I can recommend it. Or anything else with peach." He might have to look at the menu later and see what they had, he was a sucker for peach drinks. "The sorcerer's sunrise looked good too, though. Raspberry schnapps, vodka, pineapple juice and orange juice."

"Yeah, usually if I'm at a club, I'm there to dance. It's certainly not the right place to find a boyfriend - though on nights like tonight, I'm perfectly happy looking for Mister Right Now."

He watched Dominic sip and saw appreciation. When the bartender looked his way, he grinned. "I'll have what he's having." The bartender, who was nicely fit, grinned back and set to making the drink with a wink.

"So what have you been up to lately? Any new projects? I hope I told you what a great job you did with Dean's party."

"I'm not much of a dancer," Dominic admitted, in case that was going to be Ernie's next suggestion. "I prefer to talk." Once in a very great while he might get out on the dance floor but he couldn't really do much more than shuffle or grind. He took another sip of his drink as he raised an eyebrow. "And what might Mr Right Now do for you? Dancing partner?" He wet his lips and looked Ernie up and down. He was a good looking man and Dominic was certain he wouldn't have any trouble.

Dominic grinned at the memory of Dean's birthday. It hadn't been that complicated, really, though the sand had thrown up some difficulties. "Oh, you know me, like to have ten things on the go at once. I'm working on the perfume section of Hot Crossed Buns, still coming up for ideas for potential play dates, I've got a customer who wants their windows to 'look out' on Sydney Harbour Bridge which is more advanced magic than you might imagine." He paused, aware he sometimes ran away with himself when talking about his work. "But tonight isn't a night for work. How've you been?"

"I guess you can say that. I guess it depends on what kind of dancing you're talking about - the horizontal or vertical kind." His eyes went a little distant for a moment, his lips tilted up in a private grin. "Though both can be vertical sometimes."

"Always so busy, and you're right. You need time to relax, my friend, and tonight's a good start. I've been... busy, work's been hard this week." He shrugged and tried to push back thoughts of the last few days. Thankfully, the bartender handed over his drink, and Ernie tossed him a few coins before turning back to Dominic. "It's why I'm here tonight, actually. I just want someone who can turn my brain to mush for an hour or so, help me forget everything for a little while."

Dominic laughed openly. "Fair enough. I don't mind a bit of vertical horizontal dancing myself." That particular physical activity he could definitely get interested in. He hadn't come out tonight looking for anything of the kind, but that didn't mean he was going to turn it down. He wasn't stupid.

"The advantage of more or less being able to set my own working hours is that if I want to spend a night in a club chatting to handsome men and drinking fruity cocktails then I can." He gave Ernie a wink and held his glass up in a wordless toast. His expression grew a little more serious as Ernie explained what he was here for. He wanted to ask what had been so hard about this week - but if Ernie just wanted to forget about it then he wouldn't force him to talk. "Hmm. Someone who can turn your brain to mush... Well, what kind of man might that be and we can get looking?" And if Dominic happened to fit the description, well. He didn't mind making himself useful...

Ernie's cheeks tinged a light pink as he lifted his glass, tilting it to clink against Dominic's. "Fruity drinks and handsome men are things we definitely need more of in life."

He leaned back against the bar and sipped, getting his first taste of peaches. He was glad he'd followed Dominic's lead on this one. For a moment, his eyes took in his friend's physique, which was very pleasing to the eye. Hadn't Susan said once that Dominic might be up for a little 'temporary relief'? Or maybe it was just a little wishful thinking on his part. Though, really, there was only one way to find out.

"Maybe someone strong with nice, worker's hands. Nice looking helps, I like a bloke with dark hair. Friendly, easy to get on with, doesn't mind something casual, but still might enjoy a good cuddle after - that's not required, but would still be nice." He looked at Dominic with a questioning look. "Do you know anyone like that?"

Listening to Ernie's list of requirements it was fairly obvious it was tailored to fit - with a few of Ernie's own preferences thrown in. It was flattering, to be wanted, and Dominic shifted closer with a smile. "As it happens, I do." He turned so he was facing Ernie more than he was facing the crowd and let his fingers stroke the wrist of Ernie's free hand.

"I suppose the question now is, what's going to distract you most? Fast and dirty or a slow build up?" He had no problem talking about such things in public, or even getting the show started with some public kissing. Anything that involved hands under clothes was best saved for behind closed doors, but they could get to that. The challenge of driving thoughts of work from Ernie's head completely had caught Dominic's attention. Photos of the club could wait for next week, Dominic's focus was now utterly elsewhere.

The touch on his wrist had Ernie's stomach tightening in anticipation. This was one of his favourite parts, that razor's edge of want and need held in the simplest of touches, yelling at his body YES in bright, neon lights. He looked over at Dominic and had the slightest moment of hesitation, remembering a drunken snog with his best mate that was never spoken of again. But this was Dominic, not Justin, and Ernie had been very clear about what he wanted. Hopefully there would be no future awkwardness because at that moment, he wanted nothing more than for Dominic to grab him and shag him against the nearest solid surface.

"If we're going to pulverize my brain, then definitely slow build up," he replied, his voice gone a little husky. He slid his hand out from under Dominic's touch to reach out, sliding a finger through the nearest trouser loop, and tugging him closer.

Dominic let himself be drawn closer, hip bumping against Ernie's. He downed what was left in his glass and twisted - conveniently pressing against Ernie as he did so - to put it back down on the bar. A glance around showed things were getting busier and he used the excuse to bend his head and let his lips hover close to Ernie's ear. "Looks like people are trying to get the bar. Shall we move aside and let them have their turn?' There was nothing overtly suggestive in the words, but now that they both knew where this was going that didn't seem to matter so much.

As to whether they 'moved aside' to a quieter area of the club or to one of their homes, Dominic didn't honestly mind. Since he was already whispering in Ernie's ear, he took the opportunity to add, "Anything else I should know about your preferences, or are you going to let me have the fun of finding out for myself?"

Ernie's breath caught as he instinctively pressed back. When Dominic leaned in, Ernie anticipated something positively filthy being whispered into his ear, yet even though it wasn't as dirty as he'd hoped, he still enjoyed the feel of Dominic's breath against his skin. He tilted his head so that his own lips were near Dominic's ear, his chin accidentally brushing up against his jaw as he moved.

"What, you mean you don't want to shag me against the bar?" he replied teasingly. "I don't think you'll have much trouble figuring me out - I'm pretty easy."

He left his barely-touched drink on the bar as there were far more important things to attend to. He now had both hands available and slid them along Dominic's waist, then gently tugged him away from the bar. "Is this far enough, or do you want to go somewhere more private? I've a nice, big bed at home that gets a little lonely at times."

Dominic licked his lips as he and Ernie got closer and closer to one another. "It's not that I don't want to," he said, because the idea of shagging Ernie against the bar was one with definite appeal - at least as a mental image. "I respect Charlie Weasley way too much to get down and dirty in his place of work."

He noticed that Ernie left his drink behind and smirked. They wouldn't be coming back for it. He leaned easily into the touch of Ernie's hands on his waist, following him away from the bar. "Sounds like your big bed needs company. But this will do for now." And with that, he turned his head to catch Ernie's mouth in a kiss.

"You never know, he might enjoy the show," Ernie replied, but it was only said jokingly. He'd never been one to involve others unwillingly in his exploits - it was, however, a very nice fantasy.

Ernie's lips had parted to reply when they were met with Dominic's. He made a small moan as he immediately dove into the kiss, his hands tightening against Dominic's back, pulling him closer. It had been far too long since his last shag and his body was more than ready, feeling so warm and desired.

His hands began to wander, sliding down Dominic's back and over his trousers, cupping his arse and pulling him even closer where Ernie needed to feel him most.

Laughing, Dominic shook his head. He'd spent too much time with Seamus no-sex-in-my-pub Finnigan to find the idea of shagging in someone else's workplace particularly appealing. Fortunately, Ernie diverted the need for further discussion by pulling Dominic closer.

He responded happily, one hand sliding into Ernie's hair to hold him in place while Dominic obligingly rolled his hips forward. He nipped gently at Ernie's full lower lip before he pulled back, fingers still tangled in Ernie's hair. "How's your brain feeling?" he teased. "Because from where I'm standing that was definitely a promising start."

Ernie whimpered when their hips rubbed together - he'd always been a vocal lover, one of the many reasons he'd gotten good at silencio over the years. He tried to chase Dominic's lips when they left his but was stopped by the hand holding his head. His eyelids parted, darkened blue eyes peeking out to meet Dominic's gaze.

"Right now, my brain's the only part of me that's getting soft," he teased back, arching his groin into Dominic's hips as if to prove how not-soft the rest of him was. "You're a brilliant brain musher. I can't wait to see what else you've up your sleeve." The last was murmurred as Ernie leaned in to playfully bite at Dominic's jaw, licking it right afterward before repeating the process down the other man's neck.

Ernie's darkened eyes and little whimper were going straight to Dominic's own groin. "That's quite a compliment," he said, relaxing his hold on Ernie's hair to further enable Ernie's attentions to his neck. "Might add that to my portfolio. Top class brain musher."

Reluctantly, he pulled away from Ernie, reaching for his hand and twining their fingers together. "I think we should get out of here." He headed for the main doors of the club, pausing by the cloakroom to see if Ernie needed to collect anything. "Your place?" he asked when they were outside.

Ernie grinned against the skin of Dominic's throat. "Feel free to use me as a reference anytime. Or just use me, period."

He pouted, feeling the absence of Dominic's body against his, but was happy to be taken by the hand and pulled away. He ignored all those they passed on the way, focused entirely on Dominic. The passage through the club dispersed some of the sexual haze that had fallen over him and he took a few good breaths of fresh air outside. "Definitely my place," he said, unable to resist leaning in for another kiss as he pulled out his wand and slid his arm around his friend. "And then I'm yours."

And with that, he sidelong Apparated them to his flat where they could have a little fun in private.
