Re: Dominic and Open
"I'm not much of a dancer," Dominic admitted, in case that was going to be Ernie's next suggestion. "I prefer to talk." Once in a very great while he might get out on the dance floor but he couldn't really do much more than shuffle or grind. He took another sip of his drink as he raised an eyebrow. "And what might Mr Right Now do for you? Dancing partner?" He wet his lips and looked Ernie up and down. He was a good looking man and Dominic was certain he wouldn't have any trouble.
Dominic grinned at the memory of Dean's birthday. It hadn't been that complicated, really, though the sand had thrown up some difficulties. "Oh, you know me, like to have ten things on the go at once. I'm working on the perfume section of Hot Crossed Buns, still coming up for ideas for potential play dates, I've got a customer who wants their windows to 'look out' on Sydney Harbour Bridge which is more advanced magic than you might imagine." He paused, aware he sometimes ran away with himself when talking about his work. "But tonight isn't a night for work. How've you been?"
