Journal - Just as advertised
If anyone ever wondered watching paint dry is as fucking boring as advertised. Believe me I'm a professional. Even when you're really invested in how it'll turn out. Normally I'd work on something else but I'm too nervous about this trial piece and I already did something I'll have to paint over this morning.

Please tell me I'm working at the pub today, or you can find me something to do there so I don't have to be here. I tidied up my studio already and the communal store room is fine.

Otherwise I'm going to spend three hours in Susan's pool turning into a shrivelfig and still end up with half a day to fill. I don't even have a book to distract me that isn't about art and I really cannot be arsed to go shopping.

Yes, yes, whiny and pathetic with my dream job. I'm aware. But there's only so much busywork I can make.
