RP: McLaggen's Magical Sports
Who: Mac + Open
What: McLaggen's evening hours.
When: Friday, July 3rd, PM
Where: McLaggen's Magical Sports, Monument Alley
Rating: SFW

Mac was changing the window dressings this evening. He'd changed from his usual work attire into shorts and a t-shirt, better for digging around in the dusty storage space on his building's second floor, and for all the stretching and crouching of moving heavy things and making them look good in the windows. Plus, it didn't hurt if mother's with excited, gift-greedy children wandering buy saw him stretching and crouching in shorts, instead of slacks. Cormac may be a one-witch man these days, but he also knew the value of enticing the female shopping population. He also figured Lavender knew him well enough to be far past worrying about his ego.

The thought of Lavender made him smile and as his mind drifted he lifted a particularly heavy lighting system, but his lack of concentration got him and he over-estimated a distance. A quick shouted buffering charm stopped the lamps from crashing into the floor but didn't stop them from bringing down a line of brooms. Cursing to himself and shaking his head as if to focus it physically, he grabbed the lamps again and narrowed his eyes at them, getting back to work.

Mac gave her a smile, "Smart," he said, not wanting to push anything - she was a customer after all.

Cormac gave her a confused look this time, "Contemplating? Are they trying out for a team or just learning? Most people just sort of... have a position, you know?" Cormac didn't know it was instinct, talent, or cosmic intervention that pointed a player toward one position over another, but he knew that he'd always been a Keeper and always would be. It was just sort of part of his natural make-up.

"But either way, I can help with equipment and training uniforms for both if you like?" He asked, pointing first toward the beater bats.

Marietta was floundering something fierce. She had gone to the Quidditch games at Hogwarts because everyone went, that and to support her best friend. Still she'd never understood the game. Even now when she went it was either to support a friend or play the role of arm candy.

Cormac's questioning and assumptions that everyone should know about these sort of things caused her to panic. What if he saw through what she was doing? "I suppose I'll have to let them come in and speak with someone themselves," she back pedaled. The jersey's would have to be enough for now.
