Is anyone who hates housework in desperate need of a roommate? I'll do all of it in return for a reduced share of the rent, on a temporary basis.

In relation to that, is anyone hiring? I can't work with animals or children but I will consider almost anything else, although I can be annoyingly picky for which I apologise in advance.

I keep dreaming. After VH day and reading that journal and hearing about what it did to others.

The difference is, you deserve it. Every minute you spend trapped back there reliving it, you deserve every hour that you can't sleep and you deserve to slink around like someone's kicked dog because you could have stopped it, couldn't you. Could have stopped something, stopped part of it. You knew what he was, you could have stopped him but you didn't. You never did, did you, just ran like a coward and hid and couldn't even tie up your own loose ends. Think about Dean's paintings, his nightmares. Think about all those people around that statue and sitting in that group sharing experiences that none of them deserved and then look at you. Deserve what you got and it wasn't even enough. Couldn't even come out in public, just delivered a tiny penance in secret like you were one of them. Just like your father, just as guilty as your dad, the same blood in his veins as in yours, the same blood in his veins, the same blood in yours, the same blood, all comes down to blood in the end and yours is the same blood-

Well, there's a first. I've never been called that before -- I'm not sure I'm quite how one's supposed to look. White robes never did suit me, either.

I wonder if you would be willing to do me a favour instead? There are some books Jane's found at the auld home that none of us can read, and it frets her that we don't know anything about them. If you can read them, would you translate them for us? Some are from my family, some are from hers, and they're all old. Some are very old. I think at least one is a herbal from a grounds-keeper our family had, and there's another with sketches of animals I don't recognise. There are around two dozen -- if you were able to do anything with any of them, I'd consider it entirely a fair trade.

	I've done you a disservice then, you've always been one to me. I'd imagine they look like you. Of course, I can do that for you as well with no problem at all, I'll be happy to take a look.
