Journal -- Warded heavily to Mils
Read this after Caduceus arrives and before you open your present! He got excited and forgot to take my letter with the present.



Darling!

I know, I'm such a horrible friend, having to postpone your birthday celebration. Unfortunately, between your trip and my last minute uber deadline, my plans for your birthday were all messed up.

But Caduceus is on his way to you with your present now. I put the final touches on it this morning. I must admit, I'm terribly nervous as to whether or not you'll like it.

Now open your gift, and no, please don't be disappointed yet. I know the little owl statues [each one a little different than the other, and animated slightly] aren't much to look at, but bear with me! Put one in each corner of the room, any room, and go stand in the middle. Face each one in turn and say this incantation [incantation warded hard for her eyes only].

It's as close as I could get to the ceiling of Hogwarts, without actually getting more Charms masters and invading your home. The up side is it is portable, and you can change the rooms by moving the statutes to a different room -- so now you can always have a magical ceiling, whenever you want and wherever you go.

Happiest of birthdays, my dear, dear friend. We'll go out and celebrate it properly soon.
