Journal: Back from My African Weekend!

It was a wonderful birthday -- my parents gave me a weekend in Kenya, in the prettiest resort. I feel ready to take on a whole team of ogres! Or maybe just a client or two.

Welcome home, darling! I hope to be there shortly, though you may have to wait a day or two for your present, as I've warned. I tried to have it done in time for your return, but inevitable delays, I'm so sorry.

But I'd love to curl up with a glass of wine and hear about all of your adventures!
