Journal: Warded to Pandora
Dora --

I had a baby blanket made for my cousin Sera's little girl, and though I know you're in the middle of the holiday crush, I was wondering if you might have a few minutes one night soon to weave a few charms into it. Nothing out there; a soothing charm, a cooling/warming charm, maybe an Impervious if you've got the time. And I'm open to suggestions too, if you have any. I'll bring you that bottle of blackberry mead, too. It's only been sitting in my kitchen for a month now...

Hand dyed yarn tends to have a little more personality, but I've not found anything so far that really affects the no-fade charms. Sometimes if I'm contracting something out, I have spells laid during the spinning and carding or weaving. They're more... imbued, permanent, at that point. Just like a lot of my chests are spelled in part during work and in part after.

Threats don't work on him. He's immune. Proper pureblood owl, him. He might have been a dog in a past life.

Makes me think of how Flitwick used to talk about how a charm "felt." Whatever you think would be appropriate to do, go for it.

I'll be over in a flash!
