LOOKING FOR A PLAYER TO FILL AN SL:
About me and the character I play: My name's Emily! I'm 25 and have been HP RPing for three years. I am a proofreader by day and an RPer by night (and sometimes by day, depending on how busy things are at work). I play (among others!) 6th-year Hufflepuff Coronation Street Pye (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) wellberightback) at the second-gen game ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) bravenew_rpg. Corrie is the daughter of Quidditch player Meaghan McCormack and Healer Augustus Pye, and with her high-profile parents has lived a lot of her life in the limelight and surrounded by other people who are. She's blunt, but not intentionally mean most of the time (although Lysander Scamander would disagree), has definite opinions about Quidditch and makes poor life choices.
Character wanted to fill an SL & why: BULLIES. Jerks. All-around snobs. Most of the rest of our characters are so nice that Corrie's almost become the bully of the game, which is not as her maker intended. I want more people to stir up trouble so she doesn't have to do it all the time!
I would also love to see younger students, especially boys - Corrie's sister Hollyoaks (future_celeb) could use friends, nemeses and guys to have crushes on/snog. But honestly? We want everyone. We're missing key people like Weasleys, Longbottoms and even Scorpius Malfoy. (Want to see for yourself? Take a peek at the cast list!
Game to join: bravenew_rpg, a second-gen game with all the usual second-gen fun, as well as a ton of clubs (from duelling and Future Aurors to cheerleading and drinking sherry with Trelawney Divination) and other student activities (including the upcoming Harvest Dance) and an election for the next Minister of Magic.

Who I Play: I portray Nymphadora Tonks Lupin (tough_tonks) in a game set to start at Bill and Fleur's wedding at the beginning of Deathly Hallows. She and Remus were married in July, so about two months before current in game time, and she's recently returned to working full time as an Auror as well as continuing to work for the Order of the Phoenix. Needless to say, they haven't had much of a honeymoon period. My Tonks is tough, professional, but still charming and clumsy as ever. She's just grown up a bit for her ordeals over the last few years.
Who I Am Seeking: I'd love to find a canon-compliant Remus. Keeping all the background from the start to the beginning of book seven. Preferably, someone who is interested in action plot, mystery, intrigue, and fighting for the Order. I'm not just looking for romantic role play, but a husband/partner in crime for the dark story and mystery that is told through book seven.
The Game: The Struggle Within (strugglewithin).We all know what happens with Harry and the Trio during Deathly Hallows and a good many RPGs explore what happened at Hogwarts during this time as well. But what about elsewhere? What was happening at the Ministry and in the lives of those too old for Hogwarts? That is the question (strugglewithin) will seek to answer. It's a game more about the adults, plot, intrigue, and political difficulties at the ministry than the students' story.

Hiya,
I'm Bee, 24, with 6 years of roleplay experience. I'm looking for an active, canon game. I'd prefer something DH-compliant, either during the trio's 7th year or a few years after, nothing AU. I also wouldn't mind something completely different like any of the other schools around the world. I live in the UK, so anything which requires chats or AIM logs will be incredibly difficult for me to complete, and I would prefer a game that is not overrun with cliques.
As for my characters:
Mandy Brocklehurst - She's my favourite to play; basically she's quidditch obsessed, history, and charms. She's a bit of a tomboy but fairly shy among non-ravenclaws. PB is usually Sophia Bush or Katie Holmes, and she'd be a Cursebreaker
Theodore Nott - He's dark, a little unstable, and very evil. He's a Death Eater, or future Death Eater, depending on the game, and very much a purist.
Megan Jones/Lilly Moon - She'd your typical high school cheerleader-type of girl. Not very smart, but incredibly hyper and bouncy.
Gwen Montgomery - Slytherin, I play her as the older sister, and she's be a year younger than the trio.
I've also played Susan Bones, Fleur Delacour, Ernie Macmillan, Roger Davies. Usually these are played as second characters, as they're not as easily adaptable.
