| Muggle OCs Wanted for New Plot Point! |

Hello! My name is Michelle and I am the one and only mod (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) aa_mod) for the game ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) asylumarcanum. Asylum Arcanum Version 1.0 started on GJ in January 2007 as a Postwar, HBP-compliant game set in 2001 and migrated to IJ a year later in January 2008, when we decided to fast-forward the game by a few years in order to help integrate new players (the current year in game is 2004). I won't go into the whole story behind our original plot at GJ, but you can read about it here! Just know that you do not have to be overly familiar with the initial game in order to play in the current game!
A little about the game...
Our plot is different from many others because we have finally merged the Wizard and Muggle worlds. After Harry Potter defeated Lord Voldemort in the year 2000, the Wizarding World faced an economic hardship that they could not overcome. By merging with the Muggle world, the Ministry of Magic thought they could overcome this.
Upcoming Plot...
Our current characters have been dealing with the merger for the last year and it is time to introduce a new twist: Muggles with magical journals. What will start as a prank by Astoria Greengrass will grow into a phenomenon. Initially it will be just one Muggle with a journal and then slowly, the word will spread.
Who I'm looking for, for the new plot...
Muggles! Basically original characters who can bring something new to our game. This plot has not started yet and we will not be introducing it until we have at least 6 muggles. Three of our current players have decided to pick up muggles, so that leaves room for at least 3 new players!
Advantages to playing a Muggle: You don't have to know what is going on AT ALL with our current characters. Your character is going to be totally new and so are you! It's a win-win situation. Of course, you are able to find out as much as you want, oocly. Also, part of coming in with a Muggle character automatically requires you to plot with the other Muggle players because it's built-in that the first batch know each other, at least loosely.
