In the backdrop of an immediately post-war setting, there are young witches and wizards seperated from each other via connections and acquaintences who must brave the new era of Life After the Second War.

Who prospers, who fails, who branches out and who stays locked up in the confines of their old traditions? And how much do their lives affect each other?

It's a small world, and no man is an island.

[info]sixdegreesrpg is a small game with limited casting looking for active players who enjoy interactive storylines in a social game.

Hello my little darlings! Can you believe what the past few years have brought us? Here we are coming up on the fourth anniversary and so much has changed. Or maybe not. Cho is still being left by every boy in sight, Harry's still trying to right wrongs and triumph over evil and Ginny is still chasing after him. Angelina and Oliver are still fighting and making up and fighting and making up...honestly if it didn't help me sell papers, it would make me ill. But let's face it, I like nothing more then seeing Angelina angry and upset. Charlie still looks hot in....everything, George is still trying to be the joke king, and Kingsley is bossing everyone around. And I like it. Pansy, Daphne, Owyn and Marcus are doing what Slytherins do best: making babies cry, seducing everyone and trying to pretend that they aren't evil. But we all know the truth. Of course that's everything that hasn't changed. We have robberies and murder, suspicious characters creeping about in the night, growing annoyance with the current administration, possible Death Eaters in the shadows and a group of pranksters wreaking havoc! And that's just this week, I can't wait to see what happens tomorrow!

Plenty of open characters!* There's something for everyone!

*Characters we would really, really love to have: Lisa Turpin, Ron Weasley, Fred Weasley, Bill Weasley, Percy Weasley, Lee Jordan, Lavender Brown, Neville Longbottom, Roger Davies, Terry Boot, Marietta Edgecombe, Susan Bones, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Millicent Bulstrode, Ernest MacMillan, Blaise Zabini

It is 1977. At the turn of the new year a group called the Death Eaters entered a London club and massacred two hundred and seventeen muggles and wizards alike. They left a green symbol shining in the night sky as a marker and a message-- Blood Purity; Take Back the Stolen Right.

The atmosphere has thickened. What was once a carefree time for a group of teenagers at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is now a time of fear and uncertainty. Those who plan to join the ministry have to reconsider what they will be signing up for.

Right now, at least, they are living at the safest place to be. They can try to go on with life as usual.

Welcome to The Quidditch Village

In December 2003, the Ministry of Magic decided to hold a Quidditch Tournament with the old four teams when Harry Potter was a member. All four Hogwarts Teams decided to go, although some notable players were missing as they had died in battle, they still went to Hogwarts on April 14th. It was meant to be a fun way to start a new tradition of bring past players to the Hogwarts Pitch.

As Oliver Wood, Marcus Flint, Roger Davies, and Zacharias Smith walked to the center to shake hands, the teams surrounded them in a circle. That's when it happened. To the 28 players standing on the pitch it felt as though the ground had fallen out from beneath them. It was almost like a dream as they landed just outside a village. They all looked around trying to figure out what had happened. Seconds later an old woman who wouldn't show her face walked up to them, some had their wands drawn, some were just watching, some were getting ready to cry. As the old woman opened her mouth to speak, two figures started to walk towards her...

"Welcome, it is about time you showed up. We've been waiting for you. Welcome to your new home. You are tasked with completing a tournament and figuring out life here. You all have a room, and a job. Don't worry, time here isn't what you are used to. You will not miss anything from the world you are from.

There are two additional players here, they will take their rightful spots on Hufflepuff and Gryffindor. The two who have come in their place will act as substitutes for all four teams." The old woman smiled at them, and the two men flanking her showed their faces... Cedric Diggory and Fred Weasley. Each has been here since their respected deaths, growing to the age they would have been in your world."

Each player was quickly assigned a room, a journal to communicate in that also tells them when practice and matches are, and a day job... There is no trading, it is merely what the lives of these 30 Quidditch players now lead... With the promise as soon as a winner is announced they can go home....

Let the Games Start...

Needed: Terence Higgs, Jessica Rivers & Fred Weasley

ACCEPTING NEW APPLICANTS!

It has been five years after the fall of Voldemort. Lives have been rebuilt, families reforged, and even some rekindling relationships. People are finally learning to live in a world without fear. But not everyone is pleased with the new sunshine-and-smiles lifestyle of the post-war Wizarding World. Some people just need a little more...drama in the world.

Despite being named Most Promising Potioneer of the Decade by the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers, despite being a regularly featured columnist at The Practical Potioneer, and despite her well-paying job as Head of the Potions Division in the Department of Experimental Magic at the Ministry, Romilda Vane is bored. Life has never been more dull since the confusion and distress of the War have died down. Naturally, Romilda would never wish the feelings of the war to resurface, but things are certainly difficult. Everyone gives everyone else the benefit of the doubt. People walk around carefree, happy. And everyone else is so. bloody. cheerful.

But Romilda has a plan – an experiment of her own concoction, and for her own amusement. A way to test out some of her most creative potions – brews that would never be approved for testing by the Ministry. But what the Ministry doesn't know can't hurt them, right? It wasn't like she was going to kill anyone. Just mess around a bit. Everyone could always use a little bit of spice in their lives.

Under the brilliant ruse of forming an honor society for the heroes of the war, Romilda has invited what she hopes will be the first of many "test groups" to a very special banquet. The idea of an honor society only took a few minutes before the Ministry ate it out of the palm of her hand. Little do they know of the special ingredient that has been added to their meal.

And the results? Well, not even Romilda really knows...

MOST WANTED: Alicia Spinnet, Angelina Johnson, Astoria Greengrass, Blaise Zabini, Hannah Abbott, Lee Jordan, Lisa Turpin, Luna Lovegood, Mandy Brocklehurst, Millicent Bulstrode, Padma Patil, Parvati Patil, Pansy Parkinson, Percy Weasley, Ronald Weasley, Theodore Nott, and many other popular characters!

They had been granted an opportunity to put right everything that had gone wrong. Can Harry save his parents? Can Draco fix it so he is never asked to kill Dumbledore? Can Peter escape the lure of the Death Eaters? Can Severus keep Lily safe? Or could they possibly make everything worse?

Want something a little different? Looking for an AU game? A marauder-era game? A trio-era game? A game where you can play an evil Death Eater without people assuming that you are a horrible person in real life? A game where you can play an Order member with some actual opposition in-game? A game with talented players, an abundance of plot, and a promise not to die? ;-) Chronic Resurrection is a dark Harry Potter game set in 1977 and 1998 exploring the AU that arises following the inadvertent time-travel of four key individuals from 1998. We'd love it if you checked us out.

Most wanted:
Canon - Rabastan Lestrange, Mulciber, Ronald Weasley, Ted Tonks.
OCs - Phillip, Kat and Damien Jugson (children of Armand and Keagan Jugson), Odette Avery (wife of Lanyon Avery), Francis Avery (son of Lanyon and Odette Avery).
DEATH EATERS in general, including a husband for Elette [nee Pucey].
