Voldemort is dead, and the war is over. Or so everyone assumed. But with the Death Eaters scattered, unorganized and unchecked, a new reign of terror begins. Wizards are being monitored and censored by the same Ministry that they are forced to look to for protection. Former Death Eaters are killing not only for sport, but for revenge. The Werewolves, made even more deadly after getting their hands on Wolfsbane Potion, are growing in numbers. Once again, the Order will be called into duty to protect themselves and the Wizarding world. New members will be recruited, and even the non-affiliated will be hard pressed to remain uninvolved in this turbulent time.

Disjecta Membra is a Post War game, set after Deathly Hallows. It is canon in most ways, but many of the most ruthless Death Eaters have escaped death or capture. Some of our favorite characters lost in the last few days of the war are alive as well. It will be dark, violent and hopefully, a lot of fun. Come by and check us out!

The world's in a dangerous place today.

New York City is known to many as the city of heroes, and with heroes come the villains and the people to be protected. Orphans, mutants, products of experiments and genetic damage, technovillains, and the humans that live beside them are forced by location to either deal with each other -- or find a way to fight (or make) the changes they need. It's a tough place, and not everybody makes it through alive, let alone with their goals intact.

So there's your challenge, true believers. The world's in your hands. Will you shape it to your own vision -- or be beaten to the punch?

CITY OF VISIONS ([info]city_of_visions) is an InsaneJournal RPG set in the central hub of the Marvel Universe: New York City, based on pre-Civil War comic canon. We're seeking a group of active, eager, talented roleplayers to come and fill out the cast: solo superhero vigilantes, the New Avengers, the Brotherhood of Mutants, the Morlocks, the Runaways, the staff at The Daily Bugle, and others. Almost every character is available, so please, come and join us! We have a couple of players and we have a minor bit of plot coming up; it's the perfect time to join!


We're in particular need of The Runaways, particularly Chase Stein. We would also really love a Foggy Nelson to complete the law firm of Murdock, Nelson, and Blake. We also seriously need some Avengers to keep Spider-Man company. Typhoid Mary is in need of a Deadpool, and our Kingpin for this roleplay would like a Bullseye, or even his foster sister, Echo. We also really need some VILLAINS, so please, come apply!

It's 2007. Approximately twenty years ago, mutants began surfacing in nearly every continent on the globe. No one quite knew the reason, governments not quite sure what to do, public response varying from support, to indifference, to utter hatred. In the United States, mutant communities began forming in the larger cities, pockets for solace and peace of mind from the ever-threatening "normal world". One such area appeared in New York City, at the center of which stood the mutant-oriented club "The Haven".
