I'm getting a little excited about the movie and I'm looking for a Thomas Barrow/Tom Branson storyline.
Scenario: 1926, Post-series. Thomas Barrow, now the primary butler at Downton Abbey in the wake of Carson's retirement, has never been a particularly political man, but at the urging of an occasional partner/casual beau, he goes to Ripon to hear a political speaker who, among other liberal ideas, supports the decriminalization of homosexual acts. He and Tom Branson see each other in the crowd. (Branson may be there as someone who knows he feels attraction to men as well as women and finds this speaker especially relevant to his life, out of general political interest, or because he generally supports decriminalization and/or other liberal ideas the speaker is promoting.) Branson offers Barrow a ride home so that he doesn't have to take the train back to Downton, and there begins a friendship -- and eventual romance -- that would have seemed impossible when they first met more than 12 years earlier.
I lean toward playing Barrow and I'm looking for a Branson. 21+, third person past tense preferred, I usually play by email but will possibly entertain other venues -- almost certainly not instant message clients, though.
