Minor Potter Canons/Crackish Pairings?
I'm so glad the Potter fandom seems to be alive and well on IJ. I'd love to pair a couple pairings and lines, mostly minor canons or next generation. I'd prefer to RP over emails, but I will do journals if you don't mind that my journal won't be pretty.
1.) Charlie Weasley/Luna Lovegood: I could play Charlie, or Luna. Post Hogwarts. Luna is a magizoologist, and her search to prove the existence of 'mythical' creatures brings her to Charlie's dragon reservation in Romania. We can mix in age differences, baby dragons hatching, vampires and other Romanian mythology, scenic villages and castles, and maybe hints of dark magic. Mostly, I just want to see how awkward and cute Charlie and Luna are bonding over beasties most people fear.
2.) Marcus Flint/Katie Bell: I'd like to play Marcus. Post Hogwarts. Perhaps the two are rivals on opposing Quidditch teams, but Marcus winds up getting signed onto Katie's, and makes her life an ever living hell. A slight warning: my Marcus is a cocky, sexist, brutal pig, but he is oh so fun to write, especially against a Katie who is just as bold and temperamental as he is.
3.) Seamus Finnigan/Parvati Patil: I like to imagine Seamus as a HitWizard when he graduates, and perhaps through her Divination training, Parvati gains powers as a Seer. She has a vision about Seamus, winds up saving his life, and together they decide to fight dark magic the Ministry won't touch 'Angel' style using Parvati's visions. I can portray Seamus or Parvati.
4.) Ted Lupin/Victoire/Dominique/Lily: I'd love to play Ted Lupin as an adult. I imagine he is a wildly creative, free spirited, but reckless and irresponsible. After he and Victoire broke up, he joined Malvolio's Magical Circus and traveled the world for a bit, using his Metamorphmagus abilities in his act to the thrill and bewilderment of people everywhere. A death in the Weasley family brings him back home, and makes he and Victoire reconnect, or perhaps Ted winds up growing closer to Dominique or Lily (as long as Lily is at least seventh year, but exploring the age gap and 'forbidden fruit' aspect of it all sounds enticing).
5.) Rose Weasley: I would absolutely love to do a line where I play Rose. Fenrir Greyback escapes from Azkaban, and kidnaps/bites her as vengeance against her parents. Rose returns to school, to widespread knowledge that she is now a werewolf, and the stigma and isolation makes her question whether she feels more wolf than Weasley. I could play her against anyone, but I am quite partial to Rose/Scorpius.
I also don't mind writing Scorpius in another line, but I don't have any plots in mind for him.
6.) And finally, another Hogwarts RP, but with original characters. The four founders are reincarnated as students, in an effort to save the school once again from blood prejudice. This requires doubling. The students won't know who they are until the RP unfolds. I'd like to portray a female Slytherin and male Ravenclaw, but your Hufflepuff and Gryffindor can be any gender.
