Hobbit romance -- not everybody's cup of tea, but I'm looking for it! (I kind of don't expect to get a response, but if I do, I'll be tickled.)

I'm looking to play Pippin in either a Pippin/Diamond line (post-war) where the Thain is insisting Pippin move back to the Great Smials and marry and he and Diamond are tossed into a courtship that neither of them is particularly looking forward to...

OR

OC/not-Diamond hobbit lass, Pippin becomes interested in her. Preferably someone more of Sam's social class, not Pip's, and therefore not a lass Paladin thinks makes an appropriate love interest for the future Thain.

Okay, stick with me, I know this one is weird. ...a long, long time ago, there was a fic where some big folk stunted their daughter's growth and gave her to Frodo to thank him for destroying the ring. He was a bit horrified at the idea of being given a person, but took her in as a sort of ward and a romance grew from there that healed his heart so he didn't sail away... I'd be interested in playing Frodo.

Slash, hobbit/big folk character. AU is fine.

Something super AU using rough biographies/PBs from The Hobbit RPF/LotRiPS fandom, but not playing them as the actual actors from the movies (I'm giving sideways looks at all those fics where Billy is a uni professor or Orlando is a rentboy -- that sort of thing). I'd mostly go for playing Billy or Martin. I'm wide open when it comes to ideas/pairings.

Threading or email... Not necessarily looking to be super canon or replicate Tolkien's style, just get a feel for Shire life. I can't write the lasses, I'm sorry. I just can't play girls to save my life.
