RP: Let's see what's going on in the world
When: February 10, 2009
Who: Alecto Carrow (in PollyJuice), open
Where: The Leaky Cauldron (Hannah doesn't care)
Private/Public: Public
Rating: All ages for now
Summary: Alecto's become bored of taking orders and laying low and wants to have some fun. Anyone who wants to attempt to talk to her is welcome

Alecto had grown bored of laying low and letting everyone else have the fun. She had brewed all the potions they needed for torture and keeping themselves hidden. Now she wanted to have her own fun. She'd caught a girl in the streets of London that looked to be around twenty - her clothes were proper, but Alecto knew she could make the best of the body underneath it when it was hers.

She smoothed her hair as she went into the Leaky Cauldron, looking for someone to talk to - someone to interact with. She could be polite when she needed to be. And she could seduce as well as the rest of them. Her interest was listening and seeing what she could find out about what the wizarding world thought was going on. She'd read the Prophet and it seemed like the Minister was keeping things under wraps still. Good for him.

She took a seat at the bar and ordered an ale, needing to get back into her life - even if it was in the guise of someone else for now.

Hannah led the way to the booth where she usually spread out her work. She slid in and caught a waitress on her way by to bring her a cup of tea.

"Thank you," she smiled, turning her attention back to Zach. "I might overwork myself a little bit, but it comes with the job. I can't very well turn away any problems my patrons bring to me while they stay here, can I?"

Giving her a stern look, Zach took another sip of his nearly empty beer. 'Hannah, you need to rest too, and take care of yourself. There are other people working here, and I'm sure they can handle some of the issues.'

'Do you really think the Minister of Magic does it all by himself?' he asked, smirking. 'I'm telling you, you need to take it easy on yourself. Working hard is good, but being able to work efficiently is better.'

Hannah really did fight the urge to roll her eyes at Zach. She knew it was his way though.

"Thanks, Dad," she laughed. "I promise I'll eat good and get eight hours and do the best I can."

Zach raised an eyebrow, then put his chin a bit in the air. 'Well someone has to look out for you.' For all of them, they'd always taken stupid risks and failed to go to bed on time or eat properly...

Just take the entire DA fiasco for an example. Why were they insisting on joining something so stupid - not to mention dangerous. Indeed, someone needed to watch out for his friends.

'Now tell me, what's going on in your life?' he asked.

Hannah thanked the waitress for her tea and took a sip before she answered Zach. She knew Zach would never be happy unless he was looking out for people. Which was rather funny to her, since she'd become so motherly since her mum had died.

"I have plenty of people looking out for me, thank you," she smiled. "As for my life, you see it. Working and trying to keep up with you lot."

Zach smiled, though there was a reprimand in that smile too. 'You know I'm a big fan of working but even I have a life outside the office. Don't forget to live, Hannah,' he said.

"I live, thanks," she said, lifting her chin. "I just don't go out partying every night or whatnot like some of the fools around here. I enjoy the quiet life. Focusing on my work. Is that so bad?"

Zach nearly rolled his eyes. 'Hannah, since when would I ever advice anyone to go out partying every night?' he asked, smiling a bit at her. 'This is me, who likes to work, go to a museum or a play every now and again and have friends over for dinner a few times a year. I'm hardly a party animal.'

He smirked. 'If you were partying every night, I'd definitely be worried about you.'

"So you're saying I should get some culture?" she said, wrinkling her nose at him. "I have plenty of culture thank you. And I do go out, I just don't do it all the time. Sometimes I feel like doing it alone, what's wrong with that?"

'No, I'm saying you should take care of yourself so that you keep healthy and happy,' he said, wondering why this was a concept hard to understand. Really was it so strange that he was worried about his friends when they couldn't even see such a simple thing?

'I just worry about you all sometimes. I do think it's my prerogative as your friend,' he added with a smile.

"Could you worry over someone who's not the mothering type?" she grinned, arching a brow. "Shouldn't I be the one who's worrying over you?"

'And why would you do that?' he said with a smile. 'Other than annoying women who try to interfere with my waiting for friends my life is just the way I want it to be.'

He smiled. 'What would you worry about exactly?'

"Why not?" she teased. "You're a single guy. You should be out there trying to find a nice girl to settle with. Do I need to go on?"
