Owls to Slytherins all around
When: 2 February, 2004
Who: Draco, Adrian, Miles, Greg, Millie, Pansy
Where: Everywhere
Private/Public: Private
Rating:
Summary: Draco sends owls, making sure that they can be read only by the person to whom the owl is addressed.

Pucey,

Things are moving, and guess who decided that someone needed to step up. I'll give you a clue: green eyes, messy hair and a scar. So maybe it's a little more than a clue.

Let me know if you find out anything.

Draco Malfoy

Miles,

Potter is in.

Draco

Greg,

I've spoken to Potter. He's going to organise to oppose my uncle. He asked me to help translating from Harry speak to Slytherin English. He also knows about my meeting with Rabastan, although he doesn't know when. However, he asked that he be notified if something goes wrong and since you're the only one knowing you get the honour to tell him, oh and my parents too.

Love,
Draco

Darling,

I hope everything is going well. I'm sure you've caught the Minister's speech and if you haven't, I suggest you go back and read it. Be careful, because things are starting up again. I'll pass along anything I can.

Love,
Draco

My Princess,

I'm juggling quite a few things lately, but before I forget, how does Valentine's Day sound for that party you wanted to have? I do have one guest that you'll find unexpected: Harry Potter. Play nice.

Love,
Draco

Adrian read the owl with a bemused smile. Potter would step up again despite the fact that Slytherin had never exactly stood up for him? Interesting.

However, in all seriousness, his track record was better than everybody else's when it came to defeating Dark Wizards and Adrian would always back a winner.

Draco,

Do I get three guesses? How on earth did you persuade him?

Will do, I have a few meetings set up this week that should prove fruitful. I'll send an owl when I know more about the Minister.

Adrian

Adrian,

I can be very persuasive, and he's a Gryffindor. I did promise to get him Slytherin support, and I plan to deliver.

I'll have more soon.

Draco,

Shall we meet at the beginning of next week to discuss what we've found? Your place or mine?

Adrian,

That might be a good idea. I'll see you Monday. Yours is fine. I can stop by after work.

Dearest Blond,

I've heard and am concerned. Please keep me in the loop and if you need services I can provide don't hesitate to contact me.

Love, Millie

My Lovely,

I'm sure you understand why I hope that we don't get to the point where we need your professional services, however I think we will soon need to sharpen our skills in a few areas.

In case you haven't heard the gossip, the Ministry may or may not be in my uncle's hands. We'll need someone other than the Minister, and that someone is Harry Potter. He's already agreed, and I promised that this time the Slytherins will help. I hope I'm right.

Love,
Draco

Dearest Blond,

I am sure I could use a refresher, haven't had to use a lot of my skills in years.

Please tell me you are kidding, that man is mad! Harry Potter? Really? How did that come about. Of course you can count on me. You've asked and I'm here.

Let me know what I can do

Millie

My Dear,

I might need a refresher myself. I'm duelling with my father and training with other people.

I'm not joking, and he's who he is. Of course, I might have a little to do with it, and right now, we are his best source of information. I plan to keep it that way, and hopefully we can all make it through alive.

I'll stay in touch.

Darling boy!

I love you! You are my favourite person in the whole wide world! I will reserve that date for you, you lovely man!

Are you kidding me? How? There has to be a story in there, a really juicy story, and you know I want to hear it...

But of course, I'll be nice. Is he any good? He's not a virgin, is he?

Giggling,
Pansy

Darling,

I love you, too, and I should be. I'm wonderful.

No, I'm not, and the story is less juicy than you think. My uncle is back, the Ministry is compromised and we need him as much as he needs us. We just reached a mature compromise and had sex.

He's not a virgin, and you'll have to find out for yourself.

Love,
Draco

Tall, Blonde, and Yummy,

You are absolutely wonderful!

Definitely less juicy, if you were talking about your uncle. Downright scary, more like. And I wish I could say I was surprised about the Ministry, but if you want to take over the world, there are worse places to start, I suppose.

Can we take over the world someday? I'd like to start by passing some laws about dress robes. They should be worn more often. And Muggle clothes should be banned. Except for the shoes. Oh, dear, that was much too flippant, wasn't it?

Oh, come on. You wouldn't invite him to this kind of party if you hadn't vetted him yourself, would you? I don't think so!

Nibbles,
Pansy

Princess,

I know. I tell myself the same thing every day.

I think you have the best ideas. Taking over the world sounds lovely. Although I'm not so sure about Muggle shoes. Wizarding ones are just fine. We also have to impose sex days, where you're expected to skip work, stay in bed, and fuck. Life would be so much easier.

I'm not admitting or denying vetting him, however I invited him before I thought he was interested. The man needs to relax if he's going to do this again, especially if he wants to work with Slytherins, and he will have to, just like we will have to work with him.

Kisses,
Draco

Dragon Prince,

Maybe in men's shoes. But now you have me wishing I got a vote because I'd definitely give it to you! Sex days sound absolutely fabulous! And wouldn't the world be a nicer place if you had a whole day where all you had to do was shag?

He's not going to be all tense and judgmental, is he? That might put a damper on the party.

Who else are you thinking of inviting? Miles, I hope. Who else?

Excitedly,
Pansy

Lovely,

You should get a vote, and get two sex days a week. I think it's only right.

Of course he's going to be tense. He'll be surrounded by Slytherins, but that has nothing to do with the sex.

I've already told Miles, and Greg, Millie, Blaise. I can ask Adrian, the man is a fine specimen. I'm sure we can find a few more purebloods, maybe Ravenclaws. Oh, and Astoria, I did forget her for a moment, quite rude of me. Do you have any suggestions?"

Handsome prince,

I should get a vote! I'd use it very well, and I'd vote the way you wanted me to, of course! It's a travesty of justice that I don't get a say in our government! More sex for everyone!

Oh, wait.... No, ugly people probably need more sex, too. Just not with me. But they can go at like rabbits in their own little hutches, and they'll probably thank us for it.

Well, that's true. Maybe some decent sex will loosen him up. We do do sex well. I'll play nicely with him. I should probably thank him, anyway, for what he did for you after the War. I am quite grateful, you know. Even if it was absurd that they couldn't see for themselves what heroic things you'd done.

Oh, Adrian is lovely! Can we invite Stephen Cornfoot? Oh, but that might be in bad taste, given his brother. Darn!

Let's see...Theo, please. He's lovely. And Caleb, slthough I bet he won't come. You have to ask Jemma, though. And Tracey. I suppose we have to ask Daphne. I'll just stay on the other side of the room from her. Oh, could you ask Kenneth Towler? I know he's a Gryffindor, but he's not at all like some of that lot. What about your little secretary? She's a pureblood. Roger Davies, if he could be persuaded not to write about it. He's pretty. The Patils are pureblood, and Parvati, at least, has a sense of style.

Soft kisses along your jawline,
Pansy

Pansy,

First order of business will be to grant you voting rights and to establish sex days. I believe we have a winning platform.

He's been thanked, but feel free to tell him although I'd skip the last part.

I'd invite Stephen, but I'm not sure if that's proper. I suppose we could find out someone who knows him better than us and ask.

Why don't you make a list, darling? I've been sort of busy with other things. I do reserve the right to veto anyone I don't like, but Cho is a good suggestion and so the Patils. I suppose in the name of cooperation we can have some Gryffindors. Don't worry about the writing, there will be unbreakable oaths. No one will get out of that.

Love,
Draco

I'll make the list, darling. I'm happy to do it. And you'll like Kenneth. He's very pretty. I'll think about who else might do. How do you feel about Ravenclaws?

Draco,

That's good to hear though giving him some Slytherin to Gryffindor translations might be helpful too so he knows we're not stonewalling him, we'd just like some more information before we possibly do something that might be dangerous.

Wonderful. All the more reason for you to be careful. I'd like a little more preparation before I beat my head aganst the Gryffindor wall.

By the way, I spoke to Arsene about your uncle. He won't take sides - bad for business - but he will allow me a fair amount of leeway in what I want to do as long as I don't place the club and anyone working there in the line of fire. I also found out about what he did about the Mark. He didn't ward them out. He didn't think that was possible. But he did use it to track them and he was able to use it as a focus for eavesdropping spells within the pub. He said the pickings were variable but when they were good, they were very, very good.

Greg

Greg,

I had already taken that into account. The man only knows one speed, and I'll have to remind him that Slytherins like to slow down and use the breaks full force when things get too dangerous.

You're more afraid of Potter than my parents, are you? Mother would be so very disappointed to know that.

I wonder if those spells would work considering that the Mark hasn't been 'active' since Voldemort's death. We'll have to see if my uncle decides to create some replica or even access the old one, although I'm not sure if it's possible. I'll have to ask Father a few questions.

I'm also going to talk to Adrian and Miles. In addition, Pansy and Millie have expressed an interest in duelling training. Should we keep this in house or see if the Gryffindors are interested? On the one hand, mixing it up might be good. On the other, the danger of killing each other is high.

Draco,

Now there's an interesting question. Can Slytherin cunning combine with Gryffindor recklessness?

I have a very healthy respect for your mother. However she's a Slytherin and I know what language to use. I'm not really ready to have Potter explode at me because he can't read Slytherin.

Not sure. Arsene didn't say whether he'd try that eavesdropping spell if a former Death Eater came in but I'd offer good odds that he will. I'll try and weasel more information out of him.

It'd probably be safer if we kept it in house but I think better if we branched out. If nothing else, they need to learn how we fight and better to do it in controlled conditions than when it's crunch time.

Greg

Greg,

If we can, we could take over the world, but the man isn't interest. Fortunately, I might had.

Short sentences seems to work best and without any 'ifs', 'maybes', 'unless', to confuse them.

You're probably right. I'll pass the idea along to Potter and when we have an answer from his side, I'll tell everyone.

I had a feeling he would be. I would like to know the whole story of how you convinced him, but the thought of the two of you is quite entertaining on it's own. You definitely have the power of persuasion. Anything I can do?

Miles,

Why is everyone interested in knowing how I did it? I thought it should be obvious; I'm Draco Malfoy.

I did promise him the support of the Slytherins, so I'm sure eventually there will be something. Also I was talking to Greg, as well as several other people, and they are interested in training, sharpen their skills, so to speak. Someone who's good with his wand would be helpful. I'm also going to see if Potter wants to turn this into Slytherin/Gryffindor training sessions, so you might deal with them sooner rather than later.

Draco,

I have no doubt how it was done. I just don't think I would do that, but that is me. Feeling a bit adventurous?

This should be interesting, to say the least. Are you suggesting my involvement in this training? That might be interesting. What do you have in mind exactly?

Miles,

Contrary to popular belief, I'm not a whore, and I don't need to fuck people to get them to see reason. I will admit to being a slut and having fun after business is conducted.

Yes, I was. I have to arrange it with Harry, but if we can get set days for people to meet up and train, it'd would be good to have someone like you, and you could make your position known without exposing yourself.

Draco,

I did not accuse you of being a whore. I think of it as your way of sealing the deal, so to speak.

I'm in. We will have to arrange it around my schedule or our schedules. If I make my position known, aren't I exposing myself - at least in that sense?

Miles,

I wouldn't be telling you everything I am if I didn't trust you. I'd like to add that asking is stupid because a) I could lie, b) I know your past, and c) you're putting your arse on the line as well.

I meant I don't trust everyone else he might collect.
