=============
Damien had been quite thrilled once Dutch had informed him that he already had the ability to teleport not just to anywhere in their world, but to the domains of Heaven and Hell also. It was also a big relief and felt like a burden lifted. So this whole time he could have went on his own to either place, the limitation only put on by himself. But now he was glad. About this, anyway. He still wasn't sure what to think of Sarah. His instinct was to make her suffer, and occasionally his wife requested her death.. while other times told him no due to being family. And it honestly was an accident. Even though he still didn't like it. For now he had settled with leaving anonymous.. err, gifts on her doorstep for the past couple days. A tulip, or basket of tulips, sometimes a tulip bundle with a couple feathers inside.
He had just an hour ago today physically went into Hell. Overseeing a few extra torment or torture projects, advocating extra levels and such, checking up on his dukes and other ranks below, etc. And now he had just appeared in the other place, the paradise above, Heaven. His father's recently, erm, inherited domain. "Hello, I'm back! As an American general in war once said, I have returned. And as a popular game also says.. war, war never changes. Or at least it did in this one time when my father took over being God. Ohh, I bet that was an interesting surprise." He laughed, seeing a few surprised looks at those around him. Some of whom were humans. "Shh, it's okay. Just coming to visit my dad's house. Relax." He had wandered a bit, taking in the surroundings, occasionally mingling with a few. A couple turned out to be those who had recently departed in the clinic, those he had given messages for Lucien on this side. He spent a few minutes showing some family pictures in his phone, particular recent ones of little Thorn and Lucien on Halloween. He then waved for one man as he approached, "Thank you. For helping us. So he's.. fine, yes. I'd assume so. I mean, it's Heaven. But really?"
The man nodded. "Of course, yes really. It was unusual helping.. umm, you know. The Antichrist. But hey, I guess everyone has a family to care for. He's fine. Though he is also.. err.. still him, of course, but also.. well.." He paused, unsure of how to explain sanctification, or the duties associated with such rank and the like. His reluctance was also noticed. "I'm sorry, but I doubt I'm the one who should speak of this. But yes, of course he is unharmed. As they say, this afterlife here is of the highest blessing."
"Please, I need to know. Help me. You should know, you were a father as well." Damien waited, then grumbled under his breath. "Ugh, fine, I'll just ask another. And yes. Of course it is paradise. Excuse me." He didn't see why it couldn't just be told, he was sure he'd be okay with the secret, whatever it was. Maybe it was time he see his father soon. Passing through a few streets with extravagant mansions, and toward the largest building in the entire domain, he walked inside. He had found a couple rooms, one which was empty that some used on occasion for their own needs or duties. He sat down at the desk, sighing as he opened and closed the desk drawers. He opened his wallet and looked at one of the photos; the grand opening night of Sinful Delights. He and everyone there that night was in it, his wife, Thorn, Delia, both Luciens, Maxxie, Erik, Methos, Neff, and a few of the employees. He gazed at it before he whispered, "Scribe," and waited.
A bright looking gentleman appeared, the Scribe. One of a few whose task was to occasionally review and update files, paperwork, domain bylaws and rules, announcements, public meetings, records, and such, as well as putting God's words and intents down on paper. Or stone tablets, as was done before. "Sir? I was tidying up a few things.. ohh. You're here." He bowed his head briefly.
"Yes," Damien nodded. "I did a bit of exploring today. And I admit I'm curious how things are going. But my purpose is mostly personal, about my son and.. maybe visit my father if he isn't too busy. He's in the throne room, right? I know I would be. Please tell him I'm here. Though maybe he knows already. You know, being God, and all that. Well... inform him anyway. Then, when there's opening, come back and tell me. I don't mind if it's a while. I can wait all day if I must." When the man nodded and vanished, Damien then walked outside. He knew it had to be soon. Soon he would have answers. He'd know what the big deal was about the spirit not being comfortable telling him everything, he'd know what happened to his son. And, he had to admit, he was also actually curious how his father was liking the new kingdom. He knew he would in his shoes, such a nice throne. Though he understood a bit, having both Hell and Earth under his own rule himself. But still.. a damn nice throne, he'd bet it was quite comfortable to sit on. For now, he would walk a bit until he knew it was fine to visit the new God. Then once he was finished, he would hopefully be able to tell his family of what he had found out while here.
