Damien smiled when his father appeared like that. He had done that style for a while now to himself, loved making fiery entrances. And it was good to see him again. "I could have, yes," he admitted, "and I'd thought of doing just that. It's just that I wanted to make sure you weren't busily occupied with some Heaven government matter. So, how's the new gig, having fun? Think I could take a few selfie pics of me by the throne? And I hope you liked that Thanksgiving grace prayer I did last year. Effie kept making a mad face, but that's just part of the fun. Sooo much fun." He laughed at that. Ohh, he liked getting that one riled sometimes.
"And.. another thing of my visit," he explained. "I'm not fond of mysteries for too long." He'd always liked to know mostly everything. More so in cases that involved those closely allied with him, or his family. "I can resurrect pretty much anyone who dies. Exceptions being those killed by a higher power, like you or God, though now you're both.. or an archangel can prevent it. My children who died were brought back after Michael's.. you know." He slightly regretted that only for the fact that Michael and Lucifer were close once. He had at least sent some of the feather since he knew his father would want them.
"All but one were revived. Lucien Salvatore. Logic says that when the angel had ended, that Lucien should have revived just like anyone else I'd easily brought back before, but he didn't." He remembered doing it each night so far but nothing had changed. "So his return is a matter of can't or won't. I thought he didn't want to because of the dangers he kept facing or maybe didn't like some of us, or whatever, but now.. maybe it's can't. Did something change? Maybe a change in his spirit, or an elevation in title on this side, or he became an angel, or a divine aspect, something that may tie him to Heaven. So the main thing I want to find it is, what is he now exactly. And if he's happy, of course."
