"Well, at least you became God, ruler of all creation and the universe," Damien said with a shrug. "Not many people can say they accomplished that. Well.. they can, except in your case it's true." He smiled at that though. "Ohh, before I forget. Maxxie would like to do a few sketches of the Throne, and the room itself. And maybe of you on the throne too. If that would be okay, of course."
Damien paused, caught slightly off guard at that news. He hadn't expected it. "So, he chose not to... oh. I see." He took a few deep breaths, pacing around a bit trying to calmly focus on what he learned, then and tried not to appear saddened by it. He wasn't sure if the choice was because Heaven was truly better, or the amount of times Damien had to revive him before, or perhaps it was how Lucien felt about all of them. He wasn't sure he wanted to know if it was the last part. He cleared his throat, "Right, okay, so he chose here instead. Alright. If that's what makes him happy, he can have that. I'll stop trying to rez him each night if that's his wish. If being in this paradise makes him happy and allows him a better life, then I support his decision. After I go today, could you tell him this, and that I was here? Or one of your people can tell him, whichever works. I just really need him to know that I'll always be on his side, even in his absence from our lives."
