Well, hullo! Bit overdue, this. Been, oh... You might say a wee bit distracted, suppose? Anyway, I'm the Doctor! Not the first one here either, or so I've heard. Hard to believe the whole place hasn't gone up in smoke with the three of us about, but not complaining that it hasn't!

Anyway, I... well. Quick question, was anyone here about for the last time there was this peculiar mist about? An annual misting? Sus! We are using 'sus' in this decade, aren't we? Got to get my slang straight.

	There's a few of us who were here in the beginning. Or at least the beginning this time around. Just about everything is sus in this town. You learn to live with it. Mostly. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Not as such? There was some freak weather when we all arrived, but it wasn't in this dimension. The mist you walk through to get here seems like a constant. The locals have their own version of events, though. Rarely seems to match ours. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Hi. Um, welcome? Sorry you're stuck here.

The fog around the town is constant. Every once in a while it gets crazy thick and lingers past what should be normal.

A couple months ago all the lights went out, even the sun and the moon and then all of the human-made stuff. That was bad, but temporary.

The barrier is permanent and I've never heard of anybody having a good time trying to get through it. If you do I'd say take a friend who can tie a rope around your waist and pull you out or something.

	Nah. There's no way I'd trap anybody here unless the other option was becoming a Controller or something. Oh. Well, hope you're okay. I'm Tobias. I work at the pizza place in town. Do you have a place to stay, yet? The Pickman House is one of the safest places here. It has a barrier or something around it that keeps the monsters out when they show up. 	You know about Controllers? Really? I guess it is? It's safe when stuff attacks, that's the part that matters to me. And most of my friends live there ~~even if they keep moving out.~~ I had a tree in the woods that was pretty great, but it wasn't protected.
