In one week, I will be enjoying a beach with a handsome man and a high in the mid-80s. If that isn't motivation to get through this week of staring at my laptop, I don't know what is.

Please ignore the pharmacy on the bathroom counter. I've been kind of exhausted ~~and queasy~~ and I'm refusing to let it turn into some kind of illness before vacation. Feel free to join me in thinking good thoughts, as well, to keep the germs at bay.

	Okay, but if you're planning on going on vacation in a week, you should probably go see a doctor and get whatever prescription will nip it in the bud. My only real symptom is "super tired" and they'll probably just point out that my sleep schedule of going to bed after 3AM is the culprit. But I'm taking precautions, because I will not be the one to ruin a romantic vacation over Valentine's Day with a cold. I'm very adamant about that.

That being said, I wouldn't say no to chicken noodle soup. Think you could run to St. Louis and get some of Mom's? 🙃

I don't think it would take much to convince her, to be honest. But now I'm questioning your love since you have no faith that I can recreate the soup. I'm a dad now. Doesn't that mean I suddenly have souperpowers?

😩😩😩 You are the worst. Maybe one day I'll win my own romantic getaway. I'm going to actually start listening to the radio now. It's going to happen.

I'm going to send her a list of all of Ella's recitals and tell her she's going to have to move here if she wants to attend all of them. 😏

I mean, I don't technically know who she is so we can really be at the point where she'd want to go away with me. Like that would be super creepy to be like "You don't know me, but can I take you out of the country???" [...] But, god, I really fucking want to meet her at the very least.
