In one week, I will be enjoying a beach with a handsome man and a high in the mid-80s. If that isn't motivation to get through this week of staring at my laptop, I don't know what is.

Almost absolutely, because it's less something I want to express to him and more things I'd like to say (maybe yell) to her. She hurt him when we were teenagers and then she showed up again and hurt him again when we were adults. Hell, she hurt me too, even though I logically know that's not the biggest of deals in this situation. But she disappeared and then kept Ella from us for all that time and now we have to deal with her and I don't think she understands just how much potential she wields to hurt him again.

My only real symptom is "super tired" and they'll probably just point out that my sleep schedule of going to bed after 3AM is the culprit. But I'm taking precautions, because I will not be the one to ruin a romantic vacation over Valentine's Day with a cold. I'm very adamant about that.

That being said, I wouldn't say no to chicken noodle soup. Think you could run to St. Louis and get some of Mom's? 🙃

I don't think it would take much to convince her, to be honest. But now I'm questioning your love since you have no faith that I can recreate the soup. I'm a dad now. Doesn't that mean I suddenly have souperpowers?

I'm going to send her a list of all of Ella's recitals and tell her she's going to have to move here if she wants to attend all of them. 😏

I mean, I don't technically know who she is so we can really be at the point where she'd want to go away with me. Like that would be super creepy to be like "You don't know me, but can I take you out of the country???" [...] But, god, I really fucking want to meet her at the very least.

	The one they found had pretty good characterization, so I was impressed. No, I do think it's just that I needed the sleep. I've been burning the candle at both ends, which wasn't smart of me.
