Who: Alan and Paige
When: August 23nd, 2015, Day Two, early morning, around 6:00 am
Where: The Basement bar
The night was spent in blissful, dreamless slumber, and for that, Alan was grateful. The events of the day before had left him exhausted, he could barely remember the conversation that took place between the other members of their group before they all turned in, but it had something to do with... powers? The conversation didn't go on for very long, Alan knew that much; everybody was ready to drop dead go to sleep, themselves.
The first to go to sleep, the first to wake up... at least so Alan thought. His eyes opened and he stared groggily into space before finally lifting his head. He'd taken the couch, which he and Juan had mysteriously appeared upon, as his bed, while others had found their own niches around the bar. The sun was rising, light filtering through the small, frosted glass window on the door, which had been barricaded overnight. Little help that would've done against the monsters, had they discovered their hiding spot. They couldn't stay here, they'd need to find another location. Someplace safer.
Rubbing the crick out of his neck, Alan sat up on the couch. His body's addiction craved another fix, but where could he get some privacy? The bathroom? Alan was concerned that others would be waking up soon and their first objective was to use the toilet, and he really didn't want anybody to walk in while he was doing his thing. Looking around, he noticed the door to the office, way in the back, past the bathrooms. That would be perfect, if nobody had already staked their claim there.
Picking his way silently around the tables and chairs scattered throughout the bar, Alan didn't want to disturb the others. He opened the office door silently and giving a peek, he saw nobody. He sneaked inside, closed the door behind him, and sat down at the desk, removing his paraphernalia from his pockets.
