You authorized her doctors to change her medications?! To something experimental? Without talking to me?

You can't stand coffee. Interesting.

There's a place near the hospital I work at. I think they serve tea as well.

Why? Y'all going to read something into my liking tea fine, but coffee makes me sick?

Is the tea any good, honey?

It making you sick is a good excuse for not liking it. I'll accept that. I have an unhealthy addiction to the stuff, myself.

I've never tried it, but it seems to be more than lipton black.

I liked it fine before I had a baby. It started to taste like tar.

Are you asking me if I want to go drink tea?

You have a child? And I have heard that pregnancy can do that to women. Change the way things taste and smell.

[...] It depends on if you're interested or not. If you are not, then no, I'm not. I'm simply recommending a nice place to get a cup of tea.

That's what having a baby means, honey. You wind up with a child. Least ways, you do if you do it the way I did it. I figured that did it and I like tea plenty that I don't miss coffee.

Honey, you're about as awkward as it comes. I like tea fine, I don't know anyone in Vegas yet, not really so I'm 'interested' in drinking tea with someone who can talk.

I didn't mean to sound ignorant. I just don't know many women, personally, who have children. That's all.

[...] Yes, I have been called that many times. Among other things. So perhaps you'll join me for a cup some afternoon?

Neither do I. I just have one.

Sure. You let me know where that place is, October, and I'll come have tea sometime.

It's at [address]. I'm off early on Tuesday, so perhaps then?

Three. And I prefer Toby. I'll see you then, Ella.

That's way less of a mouthful. See you, Toby.
